MBDA and the Department of Defense recently signed a memorandum of understating (MOU) formalizing their collaboration to enhance opportunities for minority business enterprises (MBEs). This commitment will help increase the participation of MBEs in contracts and foster diversity and new pathways for MBEs to receive technical assistance and guidance in navigating the complex defense procurement landscape. Yesterday’s ceremonial signing showcased both MBDA and DOD’s alignment on policy goals and equitable economic development. #WeAreMBDA #PoweredByMBDA
Minority Business Development Agency - U.S. Department of Commerce I was wondering how your department will fare in this new anti-DEI era where Ed Blum sued because of selection based on ethnicity.
Excellent!
I bet Musk has already earmarked this agency as one to be eliminated.
Keep up the good work!
This is huge👍👍👍👍

1wIt’s all good, however “rubber hits the road” only when this system is able to generate results. I would request to see the CXOs of the organizations supporting this initiative to commit to opportunities new MBEs year-over-year, allow existing vendors to adopt one MBE and mentor them to do business with their organization. This will help in creating a very healthy ecosystem. MBEs are looking for an opportunity to penetrate this ecosystem.
