Poland is making significant strides towards a greener future with an ambitious goal to increase its renewable energy share to 56% by 2030, backed by a $205 billion investment plan. Climate Minister Paulina Hennig-Kloska unveiled this target as part of Poland's commitment to sustainability, aligning with the EU's climate objectives. This investment will not only drive Poland towards cleaner energy sources but also stimulate economic growth, create jobs, and position the country as a leader in the transition to a low-carbon economy. #RenewableEnergy #Sustainability #ClimateAction 🌿🔌🌍 https://lnkd.in/eAxHzPKy #SolarPower #RenewableEnergy #GreenTech #SustainableLiving #EcoFriendlyInnovation

Rich in natural resources and with important access to renewable energy sources, Brazil has great potential to become a pioneer in the global transition to clean energy. Mission Possible Partnership (MPP) is announcing today a new and exciting partnership between the Industrial Transition Accelerator (ITA) and Brazil’s Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services (MDIC) to catalyse investments for the decarbonisation of high emitting sectors and the development of green industry in Brazil. The partnership with the Brazilian Government aims to support the country's sustainable growth agenda, contributing to the Ecological Transformation Plan and the Nova Indústria Brasil Plan, which aim to reduce emissions and develop sustainable industries of the future. The ITA Brazil Project Support Programme will identify and support large-scale industrial projects with the potential for deep decarbonisation, which can be progressed by #COP30, and should be operational in 2030. To kick off the programme, we have made public a call for Expressions of Interest (https://lnkd.in/eWiwnP_K) to invite private sector organisations that are interested and meet the requirements to participate in the initiative to make Brazil greener! #decarbonization #decarbonisation #sustainability #industry #greenindustry

🌍 Today is Earth Day. It is a good time to raise the topic of green transformation, which allows us to reduce the negative impact of human activity on the environment and move towards a more sustainable life. 🎯 The good news is that, according to Agencja Rynku Energii S.A., 2023 was a record year in terms of energy production from #RES in Poland. With more and more companies and households opting for clean and renewable energy sources, the share of RES in the country's energy mix jumped to over 26% and coal fell below 64% for the first time ever. 👉🏻 However, Krzysztof Cibor of Greenpeace Polska, in an expert interview with Agencja informacyjna NEWSERIA, pointed out that although there have been further records of RES power generation in Poland in recent days, there are still barriers to the sector's development - https://lnkd.in/dKGaMj9p. One of these is the underinvestment in transmission and distribution networks, which makes it difficult to connect new sources to the grid. This leaves this potential largely untapped. 📝 At our law firm, we have been helping entrepreneurs to implement RES-based solutions such as #photovoltaics, #geothermal or wind farms for years. We also provide legal support to Polish and German companies on environmental topics, helping them meet their legal obligations and minimise their impact on the environment - https://lnkd.in/dkYtddJn. We invite companies who want to join the energy transition and care for the environment to work with us. Together we can create a better future for our planet! #EarthDay #GreenTransformation
