it's what a person "DOES", not what people say. not what was done not what may be done, but what's being done right now.

Change your antiquated hiring policy that excludes us folks that are older than 37. You and all the other ABC agencies miss out on some really talented people over this.

This is great, however, the hiring process in general for all FBI, CIA, DHS, and you guys needs to be looked at. I have taken tests for all federal government departments, and passed all of them, only to be "ghosted" after taking time off from work to complete these tests to chase my dream of being part of the intelligence community. By "ghosted," I mean I received no communication whatsoever about the status of my application or any next steps. The length and complexity of the hiring process, with its multiple rounds of tests and interviews, spread out over months even years, is terrible. This lack of clarity and excessive duration causes significant stress and uncertainty for applicants and potentially discourages highly qualified individuals from pursuing careers in federal service.

I waited three years to secure a position, and at that time, it was considered a privilege to be hired. However, today’s workforce, particularly the newer generation, often displays reluctance towards traditional employment structures. This shift has led law enforcement agencies to implement strategies aimed at incentivizing recruitment, reflecting the changing dynamics of the labor market. It’s clear that the times have evolved.

Should change age limits, alot of older people and veterans would love to apply. We may be older but we still have valuable skills.
