Building World-Class Data Science Teams in Biotech

Xaira Therapeutics coming out of stealth mode with $1 Billion in funding is unbelievably exciting and shows that the market really is heading in the right direction. As I posted a few weeks back, March saw 7 of the top 10 biggest US funding rounds being in Biotech (these alone totalling just under $1.5 billion) so with the recent Xaira news, it really does show that things are picking up, funding is being released and the rest of 2024 is looking a lot brighter. In case you haven’t heard (I’d be surprised if so), Xaira are combining machine learning, data generation and therapeutic product development to build a platform for drug discovery. AI already is and will continue to revolutionize the drug discovery process. If you're not integrating it into your processes or testing out how it can benefit you, find someone who can help you to do this because if not, you'll get left behind by the field before you know it!
