Does anyone know how to READ any more or are they relying upon LinkedIn algorithms? I have just received a request purported to be from <[email protected]> to review and sign a document with a further reference in the subject line to "EFT/ACH_Remittance Advice (Full Paymt) Signature. I am inclined to regard it as a phfishing scheme, as I have no reason either to register for any classes with Marietta College or expect that Marietta would contact me to make a purchase. Granted it was an email and not a sponsored LinkedIn message, but it does provide me with an opportunity to make some general observations, and since I choose not use any other social media site, post them specifically to LinkedIn, about the increased frequency since my recognition by Marquis' Who's Who in America was announced at LinkedIn, of connection requests from persons whose profiles strike me as "phony"--no bio section, no experience section, etc., along with few if any connections, or sponsored messages offering services a quick perusal of my profiles would show I am UNLIKELY to reply. For example, I have gotten multiple solicitations concerning investors with an expectation of equity in my Centropix business. I question the competence of ANYONE who would expect a business that is only MONTHS GO could have a cash flow that would interest serious investors. I question the competence of anyone offering SEO services to me who does not have sufficient familiarity with genealogy to recognize the need to factor Ancestry dot com into any recommended strategy. I question the competence of anyone offering me legal management software when I am an independent contract for multiple law firms and NOT AN ACTUAL LAW FIRM! I could go on, but I believe I have made my point--it irritates me to no end how many "marketers" do not do any real research, instead using lead-generators that oversell their ability to deliver on their promises. #LinkedInSponsoredMessages; #LinkedInAlgorithms; #ColdCalling; #LightWeightLinkedInProfiles;

We need help #linkedinhelp .... Our team members created a #linkedin account and after a few days they were asked to verify (same with me). After we were successfully verified, we got another request for verification some days later (we were logged out of our accounts). We completed the verification process with the same information as before but this time, only my account was reopened, the rest were denied. We sent an email to #linkedinhelp complaining and requesting for our accounts to be opened or what needs to be addressed. but we received no response. LinkedIn introduce verification badges for Pages ✅ Announced on 1st August, LinkedIn is slowly rolling out verification badges to eligible Pages. Enabling members to find the official Page of an organisation more easily and increasing their trust in the platform. LinkedIn will begin verifying Pages throughout the month, however admins can submit a request and join a waitlist for potential future verification which will be reviewed periodically.
