This year we celebrate our 30th anniversary! 🎉 We're especially proud of the fact that some of our colleagues have been part of our exciting journey from the very beginning. One of these colleagues is Lutz Schuele, Head of Business Unit Healthcare: 𝟯 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝟯𝟬 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗮𝘁 𝗜𝗧𝗞? 𝟭. 𝗩𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 - The many different products and customers ensure that it never gets boring here. You can always prove yourself anew and find creative solutions across departments with differently composed project teams. 💪 𝟮. 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁 - What I particularly like is the special ITK spirit in dealing with colleagues. It's simply fun when everyone pulls together and supports each other. ✨ 𝟯. 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 - I think it's very important to be able to drive forward your own ideas and help shaping them. There are no rigid, untouchable structures here. Flexibility is firmly anchored in our company history. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁? The healthcare business unit provides me the opportunity to contribute to the future of healthcare technology. It's also really fulfilling to work on projects that help people. One current topic that I find very exciting is the internationalization of our customers and workforce. Thanks to our affiliation with Bosch, we have the opportunity to expand our international customer base and transform our engineering team to an international one. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲? The further interconnectivity, personalization and digitalization of healthcare remains an exciting field that I enjoy working on. But the transformation from sickcare to healthcare is particularly exciting. I can’t say my career has been a straightforward climb—it’s been more like a maze. Sometimes I moved forward in a straight line, other times I took unexpected turns, and occasionally, it felt like I was going in the wrong direction. But I’ve realised that real growth happens when you’re willing to take the path less travelled. After two years with JNJ, I had a revelation: I wanted to be part of the change, helping evolve how brands deliver value—not just for customers, but for internal teams, too. The health industry is at a pivotal moment in its digital transformation journey. For years, it’s thrived on personal relationships and the expertise of incredibly bright, experienced professionals. But technology is no longer on the sidelines, and standing still isn’t an option. Which brings me to my next challenge. I’ve joined Mölnlycke Health Care (“murn-le-kaaa”) as the new Head of Digital for ANZ. Mölnlycke is a world leading MedTech company specialising in solutions for wound care and surgical procedures. My mission is to cut through the complexity and elevate digital capabilities—whether by enhancing digital experiences, enabling data-driven decision-making, or streamlining marketing and content operations. Ultimately, it’s about helping the organization deliver more value, both internally and externally. Now, a quick note on the job market… it’s tough. Really tough. Months of prep, conversations, and rejections—it can wear you down. But it’s taught me resilience, how to communicate my value, and the importance of perseverance. To everyone still in the thick of it, I see you. It takes courage and dedication to keep going, and I’m rooting for you!

As my 20-year anniversary at Infineon approaches this September, I reflect on the invaluable lessons instilled by my father, who dedicated over 30 years to #Ford Motor Company. His emphasis on loyalty, honesty, and integrity within the workforce has profoundly influenced my career journey. The seamless progression through remarkable companies and roles has underscored the significance of these virtues, culminating in this milestone. Integrity is not a learned trait; it emanates from within and profoundly shapes one's path to success and career advancement. It serves as the bedrock of a resilient workforce, extending beyond mere actions to cultivate a workplace culture rooted in sincerity, accountability, and trust. Let's continue championing integrity, fostering an environment where character and credibility flourish, propelling us toward collective success. For those embarking on their career journey, I would emphasize the critical importance of integrity for achieving success in the workforce. On a personal note, as my father approaches his 80th birthday next week, I am filled with immense pride to be his daughter, especially at this pivotal moment as I reach my 20-year milestone. 🎉 Just recently I have completed my 100th day at Siemens! 🥳 Reflecting on this milestone, I can confidently say that these past 100 days have been an incredible journey of growth and learning. Here are some of the key highlights and valuable lessons I've gathered along the way. 🌱 Embracing the Learning Curve: Starting a new job always comes with a learning curve, and I've fully embraced it. From understanding the intricacies of processes and procedures to navigating the ever-evolving landscape of a matrix organization, every day has been an opportunity to expand my knowledge and skills. I'm grateful for the amazing community I've met so far and the support and guidance from my colleagues, who have played an instrumental role in helping me navigate this new chapter. 🚀 Transforming the Everyday for Everyone: In these 100 days, I've had the chance to learn about how Siemens is transforming the Everyday for Everyone, and about the importance of embracing digital transformation for sustainable growth. I have been learning about IoT-enabled solutions and the power of connected hardware, software, and services. I'm also happy to see how Siemens encourages collaboration within an open ecosystem, fostering innovation, continuous learning and adaptation as essential aspects in today’s dynamic business landscape. Mostly importantly, I'm very excited to see how our People & Organization (P&O) team co-owns the transformation journey! 🌟 Building Meaningful Connections: One of the most rewarding aspects of my new role has been the opportunity to connect and collaborate with remarkable professionals in P&O. Building those relationships has not only enriched my professional network but has also opened doors to new perspectives and best practices. I am thrilled to share that, starting from the 1st of October, I will be embarking on a new journey as the Vice President for Product Area Manager for Technology Foundation at Ericsson IT. This is a monumental step in my career, one that not only presents exciting challenges but also promises the opportunity for substantial growth.   In my new role, I will be responsible for leading the Product Area Technology Foundation team, working closely with Product Line Managers, Business Operations Manager, Security & Compliance Lead and Business Flow Manager. Our mission will be to ensure that our product strategy and deliverables are in complete alignment with the broader business strategy, prioritizing the maximization of value delivery.   I am eager to collaborate with the Ericsson business, Group Function Go and my peers in Ericsson IT Leadership team, and our main stakeholders, to drive the digital transformation in our enterprise systems, particularly in hyper automation, AI and the cloud domain. By working together, we will ensure that our product and systems continue to enhance the customer experience.   As we move forward, my focus will be on fostering a culture of innovation in our team. We will strive to embrace change, drive ground-breaking initiatives, and deliver tangible business results with speed enabling Ericsson’s Technology leadership in the market.   I am grateful for the trust and confidence that has been placed in me. I am well aware of the responsibility that comes with this position, and I am committed to making a significant contribution to the future success of our organization.   To my product and chapter members, and all the enabling functions – I am excited to work with you all in the new organization.
