👣 𝗙𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝘅: Sometimes we hear feedback that our motor may not provide sufficient torque for certain use cases. This happens when customers try to fit our axial flux (AF) motor into the space originally designed for a radial flux (RF) motor. To address this, we've developed a straightforward representation to highlight different powertrain configurations. Our aim is to show that we are not trying to replace the RF Interior Permanent Magnet (IPM) motor but rather to offer an alternative powertrain setup that can meet your specific needs.

Powering Performance with Sound Precision What is the Acoustic Design of Mufflers? It's the art of engineering mufflers to quiet engine noise while optimizing engine performance and controlling the pressure drop. This involves carefully blending materials and shapes to manage sound waves effectively. Why Acoustics Matter? 1. Noise Control: Mufflers dampen engine noise, ensuring a quieter ride and meeting noise regulations. 2. Performance Boost: Well-designed mufflers enhance engine efficiency, improving fuel economy and horsepower. 3. Compliance with Regulations: Acoustic design ensures that mufflers meet these standards, allowing vehicles to comply with legal requirements without compromising performance. Acoustics isn't just about quieting engines; it's about refining performance and elevating driving pleasure. #MufflerAcoustics #PerformanceEngineering #DrivingExperience #SIDLAB #ElnadyEngineering

Cooling systems in motorsport - should you go for an integrated or separated design? Each approach has its advantages: 🔗Integrated Cooling Systems utilize a single global loop or thermal bus - Ideal for BEVs where WEG is pumped across the pack - Efficient use of a large heat exchanger - Single pump ⭕ Separated Cooling Systems dedicate specific loops to a component - Ideal for components operating at significantly different temps (hybrids) - Prevents maze of lines, hoses and connectors - No impact on cooling for other components (preheat effect) At Calyos, we believe both have their place. The choice depends on your application’s unique requirements. Explore how our passive two-phase cooling technology can support either approach with maximum energy efficiency and zero-maintenance designs, from high-power inverters to compact ADAS systems.
