The simplest answer: Shift your focus and reframe those thoughts. But it’s not always easy, is it? These kinds of thoughts often keep us stuck, limiting what we think is possible. Here’s a plan to start clearing them out: 1. Check in with yourself. Naming how you feel can help break the cycle. Ask, “Is this feeling moving me forward or holding me back?” 2. Curate who and what has access to your mind. • Cut out people who drain your energy. • Limit time in places or activities that fuel negativity. 3. Step away from toxic places—even if it’s hard. Jobs, social media, even routines can feed our doubts. ↳Create a plan to distance yourself. 4. Redirect your focus when negative thoughts pop up. Every time a limiting thought shows up, try a gentle smile. It may sound simple, but smiling actually rewires the mind toward positivity. Try this: Smile, take a deep breath, and tune into feeling love in your heart. Keep repeating this until it feels natural. 5. Intentionally practice being present. I define presence as awareness without thinking. When you notice you’re thinking without intention, welcome a smile and feel grateful for recognizing it and then use it as a pointer back to the present moment. Remember: What you’re not changing, you're choosing. Each positive action is a step toward a better today. (And today is the only time there ever is.) This is such a powerful reminder Jordan Murphy 🧠🦍 Negative thinking can feel like an endless loop, but these steps make breaking free so actionable. I especially resonate with curating who and what has access to your mind. Protecting your energy by setting boundaries is one of the most underrated forms of self-care—and it creates space for more empowering thoughts and connections to flourish. I’d add that journaling can be a helpful tool alongside these steps. Writing down those limiting beliefs and actively reframing them on paper can be transformative. Love the focus on intentional presence—such a game-changer for mental clarity and peace.🙏

Great insights, Jordan! Another powerful technique to combat negative thinking is practicing mindfulness meditation.
