Celebrating a work anniversary is always a great feeling, but it's even better when you're part of a team that's constantly evolving and growing. Last month, during our annual SKO in NOLA, I celebrated my 4 year anniversary at WalkMe with some of my favorite WM peeps (pictured below) Joey Reichenbach Amichai, Travis Dion, Keith Bendy, Jim Nairn, Graeme Ventris. It's crazy to think about how much the global partner team has evolved since I started, becoming a key pillar in our GTM approach. What once used to be an afterthought, the partner business as a whole is now the key growth engine driving operational success and creating new, more efficient routes to market. Our Q4 earnings call earlier today (link in comments) highlighted some key statistics that demonstrate the value of the partner business: ▪ Did you know that 58% of all new business in Q4 2023 was either sourced or influenced by partner? 🤯 ▪And when partners source a deal, we see an average of $40K uplift on ARR 📈 It's clear that our partner business is a crucial component of our success, and I'm excited to see how WalkMe will continue to grow and evolve in the years to come. #Growth #Partnerships #ISV

Still basking in the afterglow of having the whole company in town for offsites. We can debate ad nauseam about remote vs hybrid vs in-person, but here are a few reflections I hold deeply to be true as I reintegrate my experience: ➡️ People are the single most important thing that determine whether companies succeed & fail. We say this a lot at gem. It's why our mission is to help companies build great teams. But I always live & feel this the most deeply in my core when I get to spend time in person with the whole team. ➡️ Getting together in-person is crucial for building culture, connection, and trust. Especially when some folks are remote. There's simply no substitute for face-to-face time. ➡️ For generative & creative work (brainstorms, offsites, etc.), there's something special about doing that in person, and seeing the ideas spark & fly. Folks chiming in without having to worry so much about coming off mute or awkwardly speaking over each other. ➡️ "Watercooler" moments are real. I learned 2 new things about our customers in just 2-3 minutes talking to an Enterprise AE and a CSM in the kitchen who were visiting from out of town. And the three of us feel closer for it. Gets me thinking about whether it's even possible to recreate this virtually somehow 🤔 For now though, I'm just excited to continue getting the entire company together every quarter, because magic happens when we're all together in person. This was such a phenomenal week, and I couldn't be more grateful to Samuel Rhyan‎, Grace Lancaster‎, and Lindsey Ackerman‎ and so many more for making it possible!‎

Recently Radka Jančíková celebrated 5 years at SaaStock. Very soon Will Brightling will be doing the same. Jessica Ramesh just celebrated her 4 year anniversary as has Joe Byrne, although it was almost only one day, but i'm glad it wasnt. Almost half the team are at nearly three years and it's something i'm proud of. Yet goes against what I say to most people when they join. As we welcome a SaaStocker to the team, all I ask and recommend is that they give us two exceptional years and then should they move on somewhere else or start their own business, I can't ask for anything more. But seemingly our team members prefer to stay. And whilst we are a team and not a family, the culture that's been built means I look forward to Mondays. I look forward to seeing my colleagues. I enjoy being in the office with them and going out for lunch. I look forward to and enjoy running our events with them. You'd think they would be stressful but we try to have fun. We are in this together. They are behind the mission and I would say that a big reason for the longevity and success is that we mostly hire mission driven people. I think the odd mercenary is OK and sometimes essential, but they wont be the ones who stay for longer than one or two years. Also I heard a long time ago someone say when hiring, 'think about whether you'd want to be stuck at an airport with this person when hiring'. And I guess I do. I'd be more than happy to be stuck at an airport with every member of our team. As we come up to a busy period with our annual SaaStock Founder Membership (SFM) retreat starting on Thursday in the Agafay Desert in Morocco with 40 Founders and then 3 weeks later #SaaStockUSA returning in Austin with 1500 SaaS Founders, Execs and Investors (100% YoY growth), i feel lucky to be working with a great bunch of people that give their all and really care about the company and our mission. #saastock #team #culture #events #hiring

In my life and in my career I have been blessed with amazing family, friends, mentors, colleagues and partners. I have always believed if you work hard, be a good person and try to help others succeed in life the world will take care of you. This week has really cemented this belief with me, I have had the pleasure to travel to Toronto to meet with a vendor who wants to partner with us at 101 Doors and Windows going forward. One of the great thing about this partnership is it feels like they want our success more than their own!! We were treated like family this week, you would have thought we have been a top vendor of theirs for years.
