Earlier this week, I had the opportunity to contribute to the dialogue at #S4X24, where the resounding theme was "Believe" – urging us to trust in our collective progress and potential within OT cybersecurity. My presentation dove into how the CHERI Morello program is not just an idea but a revolution in memory safety. We explored bridging the gap between enduring Sisyphian challenges and emerging solutions. I showcased the added benefits of running our Phoenix platform—currently orchestrating OT functions and security controls to distributed assets—on the CHERI Morello platform. What truly stood out at S4 was the unity and warmth of the OT Security community. Witnessing everyone rallying around a common vision for a secure future was nothing short of inspiring. The openness and collaborative spirit on display reaffirmed my belief that together, we are on the right track. In fact we aren't just following the right track; we're laying down new ones.
