Snowflake User Group Ireland: What a Year! The last Snowflake User Group Ireland event of 2024 yesterday was a smash hit. An even bigger crowd turned up to our Snowflake Social event than we expected! It was the perfect way to wrap up what’s been a great year for our community. Let's briefly recap 2024 Monthly Meetups: We went from occasional events to meeting every month. Something for Everyone: From social data chats to presentations, live demos, and hands-on workshops, we packed in a little bit of everything. A Growing Community: We’ve built a great space for Snowflake users and anyone curious about the platform to learn, share, and connect. Teamwork Makes the Dream Work: We teamed up with groups like Roman Golovnya's Data Engineering and Data Science Club to make our events even more diverse. Something to be continued in 2025. Regular Faces but also New One's: It’s been great to see a growing number of regulars. You’re the heart of this group—thank you for showing up! Meetup Website: We launched our second online home, making it easier than ever to stay in the loop. Logo Love: We designed an official Snowflake User Group Ireland logo—and yes, T-shirts are coming in 2025. Now more than 600 members but way to go. We’re all set to hit the ground running next year. Thanks to everyone who made 2024 such a blast! 🎉 The first event for 2025 will be on 22 January. Put it in your calendar. A big Thanks to Thomas Milner for co-organising Another big thanks to all of our valued speakers, and a special shoutout to Colm Moynihan for stepping up and lending his support A big shoutout to Joyce Avila for some great tips that helped us get started. Also to the Snowflake UK User group Piers Batchelor 📊✨☁ and Christopher Marland. And of course, a massive shoutout to Monique Lupu and Elsa Mayer for being the driving force behind it all—you two make it happen! 🙌🎉

Awesome work Uli Bethke. You've come a long way from our kick off event years ago! I am very happy to see this growth in the community in Ireland! Thanks to Colm Moynihan for having invited me and showing me around Dublin. It was a trip and event I will never forget.

Great work Uli Bethke ! I hope I get to go to an event in 2025!

Thanks for the amazing work organising the events Uli Bethke and Thomas Milner! I'm sorry I couldn't attend the last meeting but will be there next year for sure.

Over 20 years dedicated to data analytics and related activities, tools change but foundations stay. Good data quality may not make your decisions better ones, but bad data quality will definitely make them worse.
