I’m excited to share that we launched our new Art Basel App—a project that’s been close to my heart for a few months. This milestone isn’t just about technology; it’s about reimagining how people connect with art and how we make the experience of visiting Art Basel shows more meaningful, seamless, and personal. When we started this journey, I imagined an app that would act like a trusted companion, always ready at your fingertips—helping our audiences explore the richness of our shows, uncover the stories behind the art, and immerse themselves in everything that makes Art Basel special. Today, seeing the beginning of the vision come to life in its first form feels incredible. Working with Microsoft has been an extraordinary experience in the process and we’ve integrated features that push the boundaries of what a digital experience can do for the art world: • Art Basel Companion A conversational experience powered by Microsoft Copilot that makes planning and learning effortless and fun. Create your schedule in minutes, learn more about both artists, galleries and the works they exhibit. Even discover the best of Miami’s cultural, dining, and event offering—all in one place • Art Basel Lens The beta feature is a dream for art enthusiasts. Imagine walking up to a piece in Nova or Survey, scanning it, and instantly learning the story behind it — or the ability look up details by uploading a photo of a work a friend just shared through a message. This tool is our way of bridging curiosity and connection, making art discovery interactive and engaging and the art environment less intimidating These features are just the beginning. From personalized itineraries to exclusive VIP offerings, the app is more than just a tool—it’s the next step in making Art Basel an experience that stays with you long after you leave. Reflecting on this journey, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude. To the team: your passion and dedication have been nothing short of inspiring and fueling. You’ve poured your hearts into every detail and really leaned into this, and it shows. Craig Hepburn, our Chief Digital Officer, your vision and leadership gave us the foundation to think bigger and execute with purpose. Thank you for believing in us and allowing each of us to grow! To our incredible partner and agencies—Microsoft, Fantasy, UIC Digital, Valorem Reply, Digitally Consulting, DMI (Digital Management, LLC), ELCA Group and Arcual—thank you for your collaboration and ingenuity. You’ve been incremental turning vision into reality. This app is more than just a product. It represents a step into future of Art Basel—a way for us to connect, inspire, and celebrate the power of art in new and exciting ways. 📲 Download the Art Basel App on the Apple App Store! #ArtBasel #ArtBaselMiamiBeach #ArtBaselCompanion #ArtBaselLens #MicrosoftCopilot #Innovation #ArtTech #DigitalTransformation #TeamAchievement Rob Murray Robert Kühne Neil McClure Richard Headon Matteo Filippo Chiarini
