I redesigned the Olympics Paris 2024 logo to reflect France’s Hijab ban. — Isn’t it ironic that France is banning the Hijab (and other religious headgear) for their Olympians when their logo is supposed to symbolize women’s emancipation — a universal symbol embodied by iconic and influential women (Marianne). The allegory of women’s freedom and strength fall flat given France’s discriminatory policies towards women in particular. Equality is sometimes a Marathon, not a Sprint. Equity is what bridges the inequality gap. Sprints are short races, usually 100–200 meters or 100 yards, while marathons are long-distance foot races that can cover miles. A full marathon is 26.2 miles, and can take anywhere from 2–8 hours to complete. To close inequality gap, organisations need time , stamina and a unique method. If you are working in the EDI space, celebrate the small wins because it takes a while to build Equality, Diversity and Inclusion . Focus on Equity and inequality will fade away over time .

Not only is the content important, the delivery is impactful and relevant!
