The #TaxAuthority targets the '#walletcompanies' (companies founded by individuals such as doctors, managers, etc. and being used for personal use as 'wallets' to its #owners). It aims to 'free' the #profits that are locked up in those #companies and aren't distributed as #dividends to its #shareholders in order not to pay the tax imposed on them. This #undistributedprofits prevents payment of about 2.5 billion in #taxes a year. The latter serves, in practice, as the owners #investmenttool in the #capitalmarkets, obtaining #compoundinterest on the expense of the #generalpublic (taxes are the public's #money), while we have to absorb the deficiencies in our #publicservices on which we rely on. In order to release this locked profits quickly, the Tax Authority intends to offer a benefit that will, once again, benefit the #rich, and provokes a discussion about its nature: https://lnkd.in/e-qFk4Jq (For the English version - Just use #GoogleTranslation) Thanks to Yaron Gindi, #President of the Chamber of #TaxConsultants in #Israel and #CPA Eduard Kofman for sharing their #insights and #knowledge. רשות המסים בישראל Israel Tax Authority #Taxbenefits #taxcollection #taxpolicy #publicexpenditures #staterevenues #Economy #EconomyInsights #Economy2024 #2024Insights

4% of the Israeli #companies generate a quarter of the state's #income from #taxes - this amazing figure is the strength of the Israeli #hightechsector. But the more interesting figure concerns what is the contribution of the corporate tax and who generates most of it: only 15% of the hi-tech contribution to the country's treasury comes from #Corporatetax and the rest from #taxation on #employees' #salaries. There are many reasons for this, among them: the fact that #humancapital is the basis of the #technologicalindustry, and the high wages that its employees receive, along side the low corporate tax that countries (#Israel among them) offer to #technologycompanies in order to attract them to their territory. Will the united global taxation proposed to prevent the competing on the companies turn the tide? https://lnkd.in/ec4QgfsD (For the English version - Just use #GoogleTranslet) * The #data in the #article is based on the 'high-tech contribution to the state treasury' report made by the Israel Innovation Authority רשות החדשנות the The Chief Economist Department - אגף הכלכלן הראשי at the Israel Ministry of Finance - משרד האוצר #Technologysector #technologyIndustry #InnovationIndustry #Innovationeffect #Economy #Economy2024 #EconomyInsight #2024Insights

What are some benefits of filing ITR? Claim Tax Refunds: If you have paid excess tax, filing ITR allows you to claim a refund. Loan Approval: Banks often require ITR receipts as proof of income for loan approvals. Visa Processing: Embassies and consulates may ask for ITR documents during visa applications to verify financial stability. Proof of Income: Filed ITRs serve as legal proof of income, which can be helpful for various financial transactions and applications. The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has blocked over 3,600 SIMs of non-filers in Pakistan. This move is part of a larger effort to encourage individuals to file their tax returns and comply with tax regulations. The FBR is working with the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) to block the SIMs of non-filers, with a goal of blocking 5,000 SIMs per day. This crackdown is aimed at identifying and penalizing individuals who fail to file their tax returns, with the goal of increasing tax compliance and revenue collection. . . . #FBR #TaxCompliance #SIMBlockage #PakistanTaxAuthority #TaxRevenue #FinancialRegulation #tribunetrends
