So when we think about some of the most prevalent mechanical deficiencies when it comes to youth pitchers, big ones that I think about are not rotating well, not stopping rotation well, opening up directly out of lake lift, staying backside loaded throughout the entire through in a very pushy arm action. The more I think about it, the more I believe that it's a direct result of overstressing throwing strikes, especially at the youth levels, yelling at kids. Into the point of punishing kids and their movement solution to throw more strikes then becomes all of those mechanical deficiencies. Then down the road, we try to coach those mechanical deficiencies out of them and don't understand why you're struggling to gain velocity and it's because you all have stressed it too much. You've built in this fear of what will happen if they don't throw a strike game. I'm not arguing against command and being able to locate your pitches. As with anything, if we overstress. We are going to see compensatory patterns related to what we emphasize. We can instill these ideas in these concepts. The age of eight years old, like they've been throwing a baseball for the past three years of their lives and you have this expectation and and punish them for not doing it because you think that's going to help them figure it out. You're wrong.
