Hello, my name is Oluwa Dara and I'm a partner of Tubro Consulting. In this video I will be sharing with you a few tips that will help in making the decision of whether or not to recruit a new employee within your organization. Before you decide to recruit an employee within your organization, the first question you want to ask is what gap are we trying to feel as an organization? It is important to understand that you do not just recruit new employees within the organization. Because their rules exist in other organizations, Because the kind of people that you're creating your organization or the kind of roles that you recruit within your organizations must be specific to the needs of the organization. And so if there is a role that is not unique to the need of the organization, that role should not exist within the organization. So you want to know what gap you are trying to give. The next question you should ask after identifying the gap that you are trying to fill is do we as an organization currently have the resources to fill this gap? And when I say resources, I mean both human resources and technological resources. So do we currently have the resources to fuel this gap? If the answer to that is yes, then you know, you don't have to recruit a new employee within the organization. If the answer to that is no, then you're going to have to ask another question, which is, is this gap a permanent gap or a temporal one? If the gap is a temporal gap, then you're going to have to make a decision between outsourcing the service that will fill the gap or recruiting a temporal employee who will be available for the period of time that is needed to feel. That gap is the answer to this question is a yes to the gap being permanent. Then you know that you're going to have to make a decision to recruit a new employee. I hope this tip was really helpful.
