𝗗𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘀 (𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀) 𝗼𝗳 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸, 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗴𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲? I would say that the go-live is the start of a new journey, bringing a lot more value than the initial go-live.  As a 4SCM BV consultant, my ultimate goal is to keep adapting to the changes in this world we’re living in. I believe that is possible, by using continuous improvement throughout all of our projects. This means understanding what you've got and figuring out what you need to make your business better. Then, when you figure out all those things, you can start making ongoing adjustments to work faster and smoother in the future. I think it’s sad, how many times I see that the focus is set on delivering the minimal viable product*. For me, the real magic happens afterward. The big win comes from always making things better, especially after everything's up and running. We're there for our clients even after the big launch, helping them see the long-term benefits and opportunities that they might not have seen in the first place.  Contracts vary, but our aim is always the same: to deliver value, even after the go-live of a project. Okay so everyone these days are either talking about or on the journey of digital transformation. Certainly hear about all the success stories, but then why do you feel lost? I get this a lot and it often feels like you are on a desert highway, the days before GPS, if you can remember that far back. Just going down a road, feel like you are all alone, after what seems like years you run into some civilization.  𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗲 𝗜 𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁: 1. 𝘜𝘴𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘴𝘦𝘴 - What works for one company won't work for another. So trying to learn from someone else can be frustrating. 2. 𝘛𝘦𝘤𝘩𝘯𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘺 𝘈𝘥𝘢𝘱𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 - To transform involves integrating company procedures. This takes time and key business knowledge to be extracted and inserted into the technology. 3. 𝘔𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘴𝘦𝘵 𝘈𝘥𝘢𝘱𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 - Trying to envision and come up with the new to-be state. This takes lots of coordination, time, effort and resources to do correctly. 𝗗𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗿, while it can feel lonely going down this digital highway, the outcome once you get there is truly transformational.
