I have successfully integrated the Zong API with ClickUp. This integration fetches data from the Zong API using HTTP requests via the POST command. The data obtained includes customer ID, master ID, call type (inbound/outbound), call duration, and the call recording. An iterator is used to iterate through the data, which is stored index-wise. Tasks are created in ClickUp corresponding to the number of indexes. For example, if data obtained is of six customers, it is stored in six indexes, resulting in six tasks being created in ClickUp. Additionally, users can listen to and download the call recordings directly from the tasks. => "Make" is an automation platform that allows users to connect different apps and services to automate tasks and processes. It offers a visual interface where users can create complex workflows by dragging and dropping elements. Make supports a wide range of applications, enabling users to automate repetitive tasks, synchronize data between apps, and improve efficiency by reducing manual work. => ClickUp is an all-in-one project management and productivity tool designed to manage tasks, projects, and teams. It offers features like task management, time tracking, goal setting, and document sharing. ClickUp's customizable views, including lists, boards, calendars, and Gantt charts, allow users to organize their work according to their preferences. The platform also supports integrations with various other tools, making it a versatile solution for managing workflows and enhancing collaboration. In summary, integrating the Zong API with ClickUp via Make enables seamless data fetching and task creation, automating and enhancing the efficiency of project management.

6 ways to use A.I. responsibly as a professional. As we see more A.I. use cases in our lives and with work especially, we need to consider how the data is being used. I worked on a project that was using machine learning for scanning project documents and had to consider these 6 ways to use A.I. responsibly: 1. Stay open to change As more tools become available, be aware of the changes and how they can help or harm your work. 2. Use impact assessments When there is A.I. being used, assess for all use cases damage control of the best and worst case scenarios including privacy, copyrights, etc. 3. Prepare for regulations As A.I. become more prevalent in all of our lives, more regulations will be in place, start preparing for those changes. 4. Track financial costs Lots of A.I. tools do incur costs, so consider your budget and track it accurately. 5. Build trusted partnerships As you become more used to tools, work to develop partnerships with A.I. tools so that they can better serve your specific needs. 6. Address issues and communicate changes effectively This is more typical project management work, when there's a change needed inform relevant stakeholders quickly and effectively. How do you use A.I. responsibly as a professional? Do you consider it as just another digital tool? //------- Follow me, Elia Ahadi, for more content in tech and A.I. for use in your daily life.

How to get started with a software project - Part 2 Approaching a software project involves navigating different methods depending on the context. What consistently works for me is identifying key stakeholders right from the start. Almost always, we begin with someone from the client's team—whether internal (Product) or external (Services). This first contact is crucial to unlocking a network of stakeholders across various functions like product, sales, marketing, and operations. Each stakeholder has a different degree of involvement, but all contribute valuable insights to the project. Here’s what you can learn from interacting with different stakeholders Sales: "I need to get a beta customer in 6 months." Translation: Build something quickly so the sales team can start engaging prospects and gather early feedback. Operations: "How do I onboard my customers?" Translation: Ensure customer user management is included in the project scope. Tech: "How can I build this feature in 3 weeks?" Translation: Break down the feature into simpler, manageable components. Product Owner: "I can't launch the app without features A, B, C, and D." Translation: Prioritize the core features that deliver the product's value. The PM must balance the big picture with tactical wins. They ensure the product is developed iteratively, with each hypothesis tested by real users. The learning from each cycle fuels the next. As Eric Ries, author of Lean Startup, aptly puts it: 'If you want 100, 1,000, or a million customers, you first have to get 10.' Whether you start with a wireframe, flow chart, or a simple command-line program depends on what you’re building. For consumer products, prioritize user interaction. For others, focus on core algorithms or critical non-functional requirements. Your first build is essential for gaining stakeholder trust and setting the tone for the entire project. As they say, 'Well begun is half done.'

Jargon Busted: Making Tech Terms Clear and Accessible One thing I’ve learned in tech is that industry jargon can create unnecessary barriers, especially for those just starting out or clients unfamiliar with tech lingo. Here are a few terms I’ve come across recently—along with examples that bring them to life: 1. Agile – Often mentioned in project management, Agile refers to a flexible, iterative approach. Think of it like building a house room by room, instead of waiting for the entire house to be finished before seeing progress. Teams work in phases with quick adjustments, adapting to feedback as they go. 2. Machine Learning Model – Rather than just calling it a “machine learning model,” I explain it as “a system that uses data to make predictions or recommendations.” For example, if you’ve ever received movie recommendations on a streaming platform, that’s powered by a machine learning model analysing what you’ve watched. 3. SaaS (Software as a Service) – SaaS is a model where software is provided over the internet without needing installation. For example, if you use Google Docs or Microsoft Office 365, you’re accessing software that’s available directly in your browser—no downloads required. 4. API Integration – APIs connect different software systems, but the term itself can sound intimidating. A great example is when you use a travel booking site that pulls in flight data from different airlines; APIs allow these systems to communicate and present you with real-time options seamlessly. Using accessible language doesn’t mean dumbing things down—it means respecting everyone’s time and ensuring that everyone is on the same page. What jargon do you encounter in your field? Let’s make tech a bit more inclusive, one clear explanation at a time!
