AI in wellness is bringing 2 important elements together: Personalization and precision to your health journey. Here’s what’s changing: 1/ AI analyzes your sleep, diet, fitness, and stress patterns. It crafts hyper-personalized plans that adapt to your needs in real time. 2/ Devices like fitness trackers do more than count steps. AI translates data into actionable advice for better health outcomes. 3/ From stress relief apps to guided meditations, AI is enhancing mental wellness. It’s like having a pocket therapist or mindfulness guide wherever you go. 4/ AI predicts potential health risks before symptoms appear. As AI grows smarter, so does our ability to live healthier lives. How are you incorporating tech into your wellness routine? P.S. Do you wear a smartwatch? ⌚️

One of the best investments you can make is in a health tracker. It’s like having a little coach with you all the time, helping you stay on track with your fitness goals. Here’s why you should consider getting one: Stay Accountable: A health tracker reminds you to stay active, drink water, and even get enough sleep. It’s your little nudge to make healthy choices every day. Track Progress: It helps you see how much you’ve moved, how many calories you’ve burned, and how well you’re sleeping. It’s motivating to see your progress over time! Set Goals: Whether it’s walking 10,000 steps a day or getting 8 hours of sleep, a health tracker helps you set and reach your goals. It’s a small device that can make a big difference in your health. Have you tried using a health tracker? What’s your experience? If not, what’s holding you back? Let’s discuss how small changes can lead to big health wins in the comments below!

AI is about to revolutionize fitness! ...Maybe. But one thing it won’t do? Solve the inactivity crisis. “But now we can get personalized programs tailored by AI from ALL our health data!” Cool story. Still doesn’t matter. Why? Because knowing what to do for your health has never been the issue. It hasn’t been for decades. The real problem? People aren’t engaging in healthy behaviors at all. You can optimize till you’re blue in the face, but all that extra data and debate just fuels "performance experts" arguing over what the most optimized program looks like for people who already work out. At Seven Movements, we’re not here to optimize anything. We’re here to start a movement for non-movers. We focus on behavior first—helping people build a habit through something we call micro-dosing movement (a.k.a. movement snacking or micro-breaking). It’s simple, approachable, and effective. And the side effects? Increased movement confidence, better motor skills, and finally feeling a sense of accomplishment around exercise. If this resonates with you, we’d love to have you join us in making movement accessible for everyone. Check out our Seven Movements Health Leader Program and become part of the Seven Movements mission. DM me or John Sinclair for details

Architecture of choices - in my previous post, I mentioned about sheer abundance of choices we face, that can influence our dietary habits. But if i look little more closely , its not just abundance of choices, but the way these choices are presented , that influences our decision making. Architecture of choices is the way choices are placed or presented in our life, plays important role in shaping our decisions , often guiding us in subtle way , which we often dont realize. Consider an example: if you tell your kids it’s time for bed, you might face resistance. But if you frame it as a choice—"Would you like to fly into bed or jump into bed?"—you've already guided them towards the desired outcome by shaping their options. But what if we want to drive people towards making healthier choice, is it achievable? Because this requires a behavioral change, and behavioral change dont happen in vacuum. I think Fitness watches are good example of how these behavioral changes can be achieved by putting an architecture of choices that lead to healthier lifestyle. They track your steps in real time, perhaps even nudge you to outpace your friend, remind you to wash hand for recommended duration, help you to track your sleep, convenient reminders, positive reinforcement and lot of gamification of health goals are some good examples of choice architecture created by these fitness watches. This leads me to wonder- can such an ecosystem be created with health products / supplements that can help people progress towards healthier goals

The health hack that the fitness professionals don’t want you know about. Sounds quite believable doesn’t it. A hidden gem you’ve been searching for to finally solve your health issues and get in shape. Unfortunately it doesn’t exist. Instead do these every day: - Eat 25g+ of protein with every meal - Limit your screen time after 8 o’clock - Lift weights, do cardio, walk or play sports We’re looking for the things that give you the biggest return, not the 1% miracle plays. No amount of ‘health hacks’ will work unless you’re fuelling, sleeping and training correctly. Any daily habits you would add?

You may have heard that you should get 10,000 steps a day. You may have a fitness device that reminds you to get up and move once an hour or so. But do you know how important it really is? Read the article below to see the health risks tied to a sedentary lifestyle, and then go for a walk! Remember, you don’t have to get the 10,000 steps all at once! Multiple shorter walks count too! You can do it! Your health depends on it! https://lnkd.in/eRZ8FTGp

AI is going to revolutionize fitness and wellness. Nope! Well, the true answer is likely "sort of", it certainly will for the 10-20% of people already participating in healthy behaviours and give them cool new things to follow and track. But it is not going to bring more people into the fold which is what we really need. AI has so many amazing applications BUT No one new will participate in your "optimized workout" developed by AI anymore than they would before AI No one new will follow your "tailored nutrition plans" developed by AI anymore than they would before AI No one new will start doing your "optimized mental health plans" developed by AI if they were not before. Your AI coach won't be able to understand why you missed a workout only that you missed it. All the data in the world will not help you start a new behaviour The fitness and wellness industries obsession with optimization vs behaviour tells me that we are not even close to making an impact through AI. It starts with behaviour. It is why we build programming to help meet people where they are at. To get them started. To help them feel and be successful with exercise for sometimes the first time in their lives. It is not about optimizing, it is about starting. It is about building consistency into your lifestyle.
