[Deal] Our LPA-CGR avocats #HongKong team advised Alvest Equipment Services (AES) in the acquisition of a shareholding interest in CTAS Aviation Services Limited. AES, a subsidiary of the French industrial group Alvest, is a key player in the design, manufacture, and distribution of technical solutions for #aviation and #aerospace. AES offers a comprehensive range of services related to ground support equipment, including rental, operational leasing, fleet management, and maintenance services. CTAS Aviation Services Limited is a Hong Kong company holding a license from the Hong Kong Airport Authority to provide maintenance services for ground support equipment at Hong Kong International Airport. This strategic acquisition aligns with AES’s goal to strengthen its international presence and expand its expertise in #Asian markets, particularly in high-value-added #airportservices. Lomar CEO, Nicholas Georgiou, has joined other leading figures in the maritime industry by endorsing principles aimed at maintaining excellence and raising standards in ship and crew management. Mr Georgiou welcomed the initiative by InterManager, the international ship managers’ trade association.
