Recently, I’ve been diving deep into Swift’s new concurrency features, and I’m blown away by how much easier it makes writing safe, efficient asynchronous code. 🔍 Key Takeaways: • Async/Await: Simplifies asynchronous code, making it more readable and easier to maintain. • Task Groups: Powerful for managing multiple tasks, perfect for handling concurrent operations without blocking the main thread. • Actors: A game-changer for preventing data races, ensuring thread-safe access to shared state. 💡 Why It Matters: These features not only make our code cleaner but also significantly improve app performance. Day 73 of #100daysofcode Continued the Hyperskill Android Developer with Kotlin track. Topics covered today; - State Mangement - Dependency Injection - Coupling and Cohesion Also began working on Stage 2 of the Music player project. This stage is pretty intensive as it involves setting up a lot of actions (for example, adding models, recyclerview adapter with two itemview types, viewmodel, managing various states across the app, setting up play/pause and playlist selection). I decided to start with the data classes and recycler view. So far I've setup the recyclerview adapter and next, I need to setup communication between the viewmodel, recyclerview adapter and the activity #android #androiddev #buildinginpublic

Centralizing business logic simplifies management, making it easier to implement new changes and quick fixes with minimal obstacles. Current Status of Support Many widely-used libraries already offer built-in support for Kotlin Multiplatform like Ktor, Okio, CocoaPods, etc. Also, Room, Lifecycle, and ViewModels libraries are in Alpha state now.
