Yesterday my team at the Georgia Tech Research Institute came together for a holiday gathering to celebrate the year with fellowship, food, fun, and some learning with the help of our friends at Splunk! We had a very competitive ugly sweater contest with cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, and I was able to promote one of my Research Faculty members and provide a signed note from President Cabrera and challenge coin in front of their peers. We also got to recognize one of our student interns, Maham Shariff for earning her Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity degree from Kennesaw State University! It was a wonderful day, and I am so blessed to have such an amazing team, which more than doubled in size this year.
