No one wants to go to the ER. But if you find yourself gathering items & heading that way, Here are 5 key things that might make your visit a little less terrible... (And only if you have 5 minutes to spare of course) ___ *Legal/Financial Essentials: You know the ones... ID, insurance card, living will/power of attorney, credit card and cash if you have it! *List of Meds and Supplements: Bring a list of current meds including dosages or simply scoop up the bottles and throw them into a bag to show the medical team. *Emergency Contacts: Have names and phone numbers of anyone that you want staff to communicate with throughout your stay. *Brief Medical History: Any medical documentation you have on hand that could be relevant! Recent test results, notes, prescriptions not filled...etc. *Comfort Items: I'm looking at you phone charger!
