Toronto Community Housing’s Post

Last week, the kids from the Danzig community wrapped up The Stage Program by putting on a play for the community. The Stage Program is a 10-week initiative for kids ages 6 to 12, aimed at building their confidence and expressing their emotions through wellness and theatre. The Stage Program at Danzig was created with the support and dedication of Danzig’s tenant leaders, psychotherapist Jahatara Hutchinson-Bobb and writer and teacher, Faduma Mohamed. We also want to thank our partners Toronto District School Board for the space, City of Toronto for supporting this initiative and Deputy Mayor McKelvie for attending the event.
