🎉 What a week!! Our Demo Day and the F&A Next event were a big success. 🛥️ Yesterday, after a dynamic F&A Next day, we celebrated our successes with a charming boat tour through the canals of Amsterdam. It was the perfect ending to a week packed with engaging talks, insightful presentations from startups, scale-ups, investors, and corporates, all dedicated to revolutionizing the food and agri-sectors. 🗨️ Throughout the week, we delved into pressing issues within the food and agriculture industry, exploring innovative solutions. Highlights included high cuisine tastings made from commonly wasted foods and a critical session on water security, underscoring the importance of sustainable water management in the years to come. 🤝 Networking was, as always, a cornerstone of the event. We connected with numerous passionate startups and impactful investors and corporates, each bringing their vision for a sustainable future in food and agriculture. ⭐ Let's continue to accelerate the solutions we need in the food and agri-space. The future looks promising, and with the support and collaboration from this amazing community, we are on the right track to making significant impacts. 🌟 Earlier this week Food ingredients Europe crowned the winners of the Startup Challenge, and we are delighted to see two EIT Food Accelerator Network alumni, Fabumin and Yeastime S.r.l., amongst the winners. The Fi Europe Startup Challenge is a unique competition for innovative startups offering ingredients, products, services, or digital solutions for the food and drink industry. It takes place during Fi Europe, one of the world’s largest ingredient trade shows, where 1,500 exhibiting companies and over 25,000 industry stakeholders gather each year. A total of 20 startups across four categories took part in the 2024 Startup Innovation Challenge, pitching before judges on Monday 18 November and then in front of the Food ingredients Europe audience at the Innovation Hub on 19 November. 👏 Huge congratulations to all the trailblazers leading the way in innovation, disruptive technology and ground-breaking solutions that will drive the industry forward.
