For those forecast to be in the impact areas for TS Helene something to keep in mind. If you have an iPhone 14 or newer device ensure you update to iOS18 ASAP. Then look at these instructions from Apple for Satellite messaging. In the situation where you lose terrestrial communications (i.e. cell phone, landline, and internet through the same) you can use this service to communicate with other family and friends who also are using updated iOS devices. This is something that is worth taking a few minutes to learn now for use after the weather passes through. Good Luck and God Speed to you all. https://lnkd.in/eXmetpGC

"Apple actually solved a pain point… but created a new one with it!"🤦♂ (Part 2/4) The much-requested feature is here: Lock apps with Face ID for privacy—done! ✅ in iOS 18 BUT... Now, even after unlocking your iPhone with Face ID, the locked app’s notifications stay hidden in the notification center, can't read them. Same Face ID, same phone, but notifications still locked. 🤦♂ It’s super annoying! Watch the video to see what I mean. PS: just realised this can be edited in the settings, would like to se apple ask this upfront while locking #iPhone16 #iOS18 #Productmanagement
