Today's tip from Tom is around getting your bold back. Remember when you were younger and you had nothing to lose? Be super clear with prospects about what’s expected of them to be a good fit. Hold firm on any tradeoffs when negotiating pricing & terms. It's ok to walk away at any time. It’s empowering. Also, inspire yourself by going after one “whale” of a deal this year. Be bold. Life is short. Give it a try. Being super clear about who I WANT to work with has been one of your teachings that has made the biggest difference for me. Being able to set myself up for success by picking engagements where I am most likely to have fun and do a fantastic job makes a huge difference. I regret every instance where I did not follow this to the letter. Every. Single, One.

Never a better time than now to "get your bold back", Tom Batchelder . Feels like this is partly related to confidence & partly to knowing where you're going. What did I miss⁉️ Happy holidays. 🎁

Great tips, Tom. The reminder to consider trade offs when negotiating deals is such a good one. Often we can get sucked in to “closing” when we should also be thinking about the deal being a mutual win.
