My Biggest Productivity Challenge: Leadership Strength & Weakness Ironically, focus is the hardest part of productivity for me. I know, I know. That’s in our name. Shouldn’t it be easy for me? It’s not. While big-picture focus on vision and goals is more second nature, focusing on what is most important today is much harder. If I’m not mindful, I tend to bounce around between a hundred things and get distracted especially since there is always some fire that I need to put out at work or home (more often at work these days!). But with a shorter-than-normal workday, I’ve got to buckle down and knock out my Big 3 before the day ends. That’s where the PeakPerformance Maps Planner has been such a lifesaver. I keep it open in front of me all day. That serves as an activation trigger to review my Daily Big 3 and get back on track when I’ve drifted off a bit. Leadership Strengths Focus: Once I get locked in on a goal, I’m like a dog on a bone. Communication: My empathy enables me to anticipate people’s concerns or objections and communicate accordingly. Empathy: I care deeply and understand what it’s like to walk in someone else’s shoes. That pays off in leadership and product development. Vision: I live in the future to the point where I have to remind myself it hasn’t happened yet! Ideation: All that future vision paves the way for creating products and concepts that will help get us there. Leadership Weaknesses.....( tomorrow loading) Our Mission We believe everyone deserves to win at work and succeed at life. Our mission is creative solutions for Peak Performance #PeakPerformance #CoachK

Want to feel great this morning? 🤩🙌🏻 compliment a coworker on a small win, whatever that may be! Today, I had a little reminder of ‘The Progress Principle’ A Harvard study conducted over ten years ago found that the most effective #managers have the ability to build a team of employees who have great inner work lives-consistently positive emotions; strong motivation; and favorable perceptions of the organisation, their work, and their colleagues. The worst managers undermine inner work life, often unwittingly. As Teresa Amabile and Steven Kramer explain in 'The Progress Principle,' seemingly mundane workday events can make or break employees' inner work lives. But it's forward momentum in meaningful work-progress that creates the best inner work lives. The book 'The Progress Principle' equips aspiring and seasoned #leaders alike with the insights they need to maximise their people's performance. The Progress Principle: Using Small Wins to Ignite #Joy, #Engagement, and #Creativity at work… #leadership #wellbeing #getthefutureyouwant

As leaders, one of the most important skills we can sharpen is awareness—not just of our business metrics, but of our people. Are you noticing signs of stress or anxiety in your team? Maybe it’s the quiet employee working extra hours or the high performer whose energy feels a bit off. These moments are opportunities to lean in, not back. Managing the people should always be the top priority in managing a business. Without a team operating at its best, the business won’t be at its best either. Take the time to connect. Check in. Ask the real questions and listen to the answers. Sometimes, a little support can make the difference between burnout and breakthrough. Your people are your business. If they’re not thriving, neither is the work. Join us TODAY on December 6, 2024 from 12-1PM EST for a FREE 1-hour session to learn how to spot stress and anxiety in your team and what to do about it. Thank you Siobhán (shiv-awn) McHale for this spot on post! “Remember change starts when you begin to reveal the system to itself. “ And this “honesty stick” baseline should drive the OCM Strategy and Tactics. Too many times we observe a static one size fits all rinse and repeat attempt at bringing change outcomes to an organization and it’s people. Choosing instead to go deeper and illuminate the system, is one of the most rewarding parts of being a change management practitioner, because the reveal is in essence, “pure”, and the balance and wonderful opportunity we have, is honoring that reveal, and honoring your stakeholders who are all a part of the system. I believe….then, and only then is precisely when the magic begins! #changeleadership #culture #changemanagement #peopleleaders #people #transformation #behaviorchange #systemsthinking #strategicleadership #processimprovement
