We see a better ROI from LinkedIn ads campaigns when clients have a full-funnel strategy in place. This is because, in B2B marketing, it's widely accepted that at any one time, only about 5% of your market is 'in-market' looking to buy. And what's more, of those 5% who are 'in-market', 90% will only buy from a shortlist of vendors they have already heard of. Therefore, if you're only running bottom-of-the-funnel ads, especially to a cold audience, your ads will only appeal to a tiny subset of your audience. Adopting a full-funnel ads strategy gives you a much better chance of hitting your audience at the right time with the right message. This means when they are 'in-market', they'll already know, like and trust you, and you'll be their go-to vendor. LinkedIn ads are great for awareness activity due to their superior targeting in B2B.
