✍🏼 Effective Copywriting Isn’t Magic—It’s Method! Harry Dry shared 3 golden rules on David Perell's 'How I Write' Podcast that completely shifted how I think about copywriting: 1. Visualization: Can your audience see what you’re saying? Concrete words stick—abstract ideas don’t. ❌ “A better way” ✅ “A charging Pitbull” 2. Falsifiability: Can your claims be proven true or false? Vague statements erode trust—specifics build it. ❌ “Great values” ✅ “Donates 10% of profits to charity.” 3. Uniqueness: Can only you say this? If not, keep digging. ❌ “Best shoes for running” ✅ “Worn by supermodels in London and dads in Ohio” (New Balance). Copywriting isn’t about fancy language—it’s about getting your message across in a way that’s clear, memorable, and effective. As someone just starting to explore the world of copywriting, this episode has me ready to dive headfirst into the rabbit hole. It’s amazing how the right words, used the right way, can have such a big impact. Copywriting isn't just typing. When you receive a well-written email from your copywriter that would take you 10 minutes to write out, know that this probably happened behind the scenes: 1.) They listened to a couple of your latest podcast episodes to get your voice in their head. 2.) They took notes while they listened, picking out those key points that ONLY you would know. 3.) They reviewed the last 3 messages your audience received from you, so that they're not abruptly coming to them with a totally new message. Instead, they're continuing the conversation and building on the relationship you've already established with your audience. So yeah, maybe it seems like a quick task. But a skilled copywriter puts time, energy, originality and thought into every word so that you CONNECT with your audience and push them further down your conversion funnel. #copywriting #emailmarketing #research
