June was a Pride filled month for our global team! Our UK office hosted a Pride Quiz featuring performer Jonny Woo, and celebrated the London Pride Parade together in our London HQ. In our NYC office, our team sponsored a bake sale and hosted a Pride Themed Scavenger Hunt & Happy Hour. Our ToSlayTix Ensemble (the LGBTQIA+ Employee Resource Group) put together these amazing events. Throughout Pride month, they also supported advocacy organizations Mermaids, Advocates for Trans Equality, and The Ali Forney Center. We are proud to celebrate the vibrant LGBTQIA+ community both within TTG and beyond with these meaningful and fun festivities every June!

What better way to kick off #PrideMonth than celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community and the many contributions of leaders from across Greater Boston making change for a more equitable and inclusive Commonwealth? Our team had a great time at the Boston Business Journal Business of Pride event last week, and we look forward to joining other festivities throughout the month (and year-round). The event was also a reminder of how, each year, more companies are adopting communications (and marketing) campaigns to demonstrate allyship. The most successful of those are ones that reflect authentic actions to advance LGBTQIA+ priorities and celebrate team contributions. That's why we wanted to re-share these five things to keep in mind for successful campaigns that support LGBTQIA+ rights movements and promote self-affirmation, dignity, equality, and increased visibility of this community. https://lnkd.in/e8HHGAXV

JND Legal Administration, support that is superficial is getting called out these days. Supporting the LGBTQ+ community requires more than making a post and supporting gay white men… you’ve still got to work on eliminating racism and sexism in your workplace before you can be any kind of positive ally. Yes, I know Jennifer Keough and Neil Zola (who has either removed his profile, or is a sexist and racist coward who blocked me) don’t care. However, Jen seems to care about her social media image and Neil seems to care about liability. A push on both could help towards change. Holding yourself to the standards of Seattle would help your social media image, reduce liability, and if done correctly, would increase both morale and productivity. There’s a reason most business people in Seattle see taking care of your employees as a no brainer, common sense approach. #JNDLegalAdministration #classactions #civilrights #toxicworkenviroment #seattle #LGBTQ+ #alphabetmafia #neilzola
This Pride Month, JND celebrates the LGBTQIA+ community, honoring its rich history, resilience, and the ongoing fight for equality. It serves as a reminder of the courage it takes to live authentically and the progress achieved through decades of activism and solidarity. From the Stonewall Riots to modern-day advocacy, Pride Month is a time to acknowledge the contributions of LGBTQIA+ individuals to society, promote inclusivity, and continue the pursuit of justice and acceptance for all. As we celebrate with parades, festivals, and educational events, we reaffirm our commitment to standing with the LGBTQIA+ community in the pursuit of a world where everyone can live openly and freely. #pride2024 #inclusion #celebration

A few words from our CEO about the significance of Pride Month.
For the 20+ years we’ve been in business, The Knot Worldwide has supported the LGBTQIA+ community and advocated for marriage equality globally. Pride Month serves as a reminder of the many battles LGBTQIA+ people have fought for their basic rights. This struggle is far from over, with a growing number of legislative efforts worldwide threatening people who identify as LGBTQIA+. Celebration is at the heart of what we do, but we understand that celebration must go hand-in-hand with action. We remain steadfast in our support for LGBTQIA+ advocacy organizations, including our partner, the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC). This Pride Month, we’ve launched various internal events, both virtually and at our office locations, from volunteer initiatives to participating in parades and hosting educational sessions. Our brands have also created plenty of new content in recognition of Pride Month. A couple of my favorites in case you’d like to check them out… The Knot: https://lnkd.in/eBSDn2s3 Hitched: https://lnkd.in/eaAeqKGu I am excited to share a short video from last night’s Pride event in D.C. It was truly heartwarming to see our team members come together to honor the LGBTQIA+ community. There is always more work to be done, but I am grateful that the team at TKWW is dedicated to contributing to a more inclusive and equitable future.

This Pride Month, we stand united with the LGBTQIA+ community. We celebrate their resilience, their achievements, and their ongoing fight for equality. ✊ We're committed to creating a workplace that's truly inclusive, where everyone feels valued and respected for who they are. Here's how we're taking action: Advocating for LGBTQIA+ rights: We actively support initiatives that promote equality and acceptance for the LGBTQIA+ community. Educating ourselves: We're committed to ongoing learning about LGBTQIA+ experiences and identities. Challenging biases: We recognize that unconscious bias exists, and we're committed to creating a space where open dialogue and education can dismantle these biases. As Pride continues, let's all recommit to building a more inclusive world. #DiversityEquityInclusion #PrideAtWork #BeAnAlly

Although Pride is an important opportunity for employers to demonstrate their commitment to inclusive values, consistent and visible action is needed throughout the year to create a truly inclusive workplace. In our latest blog, Debbie Fellows and Rebecca Engel-Morton reflect on ways to embed LGBT+ inclusion into employment policies and practices throughout the year. It was a real privilege to gather learning from the projects, partners and others involved in TRANSforming Futures as part of this evaluation report (conducted in my freelance capacity). While the programme and evaluation are focused on trans-led work, I hope there are also lessons for other comparable multi-year programmes, particularly those that have several workstreams and/or support grassroots groups. 🌈 This #TransAwarenessWeek, we're celebrating the incredible impact of TRANSforming Futures! Co-led with Consortium of LGBT+ Voluntary and Community Organisations and funded by The National Lottery Community Fund, the project empowered trans people and allies to create innovative, trans-led solutions to key challenges. As the project concludes, we're excited to share our evaluation report - an in depth look at how the project has changed lives.
