Mapping the dots with TN-ITS: Wrapping up 2024 🎄✨🎉 This week, the TN-ITS community came together at the ERTICO office in Brussels to wrap up 2024 with two key events. These meetings were a chance to reflect on what we’ve achieved this year and plan the next steps for 2025. 📌 Highlights from the 4th Quarterly Partner Meeting: -In the morning, we discussed how AI and DCAT-AP are shaping the future of TN-ITS. -The afternoon sessions focused on NAPS, EMDS, EDIC, and METR (US), with discussions on their impact on TN-ITS. -Working sessions helped identify new opportunities to improve TN-ITS and support its mission. 📌Highlights from the General Assembly: -Updates on this year’s activities and plans for 2025, including financial and strategy reports. -Presentations from working groups on improving data exchange and engaging member states. -Matthias Mersch was elected as the next Vice President, taking over for Sukhdev Phull. -A special TN-ITS Awards Ceremony celebrated contributions from our members, and the yearly awards went to Juan Manuel Anera, Richard Rek and Rodolfo da Silva. ERTICO - ITS Europe continues to host the TN-ITS multistakeholder innovation platform, with members representing >90% of worlds business in digital maps. TN-ITS is the reference data exchange for static map related attributes such as speed limits, set out in the RTTI Delegated regulation 2022-670, fully compatible with service providers’ map production process. As 2024 comes to an end, we want to thank all our members and partners for their support, hard work and contributions this year. 🎄 Happy Holidays and best wishes for 2025!
