Leadership isn’t about knowing all the answers—it’s about showing up, listening, and being willing to grow through the hard moments. What stands out most to me are the incredible people I’ve had the privilege to work alongside. From my colleagues to our community partners, you’ve inspired me in ways I can’t fully express. Wrapping up a week at Berkshire’s Leadership Conference in Dallas Texas. Feeling inspired and proud to work for a company that has an all women led Regional Vice President executive team. Also, we were just named top 30 out of 50 Multifamuly owners. Final take away @brenebrown Barrette’s elements of BRAVING: BOUNDARIES: Setting boundaries is making clear what’s okay and what’s not okay, and why. RELIABILITY: You do what you say you’ll do. At work, this means staying aware of your competencies and limitations so you don’t overpromise and are able to deliver on commitments and balance competing priorities. ACCOUNTABILITY: You own your mistakes, apologize, and make amends. VAULT: You don’t share information or experiences that are not yours to share. I need to know that my confidences are kept, and that you’re not sharing with me any information about other people that should be confidential. INTEGRITY: Choosing courage over comfort; choosing what’s right over what’s fun, fast, or easy; and practicing your values, not just professing them. NONJUDGMENT: I can ask for what I need, and you can ask for what you need. We can talk about how we feel without judgment. GENEROSITY: Extending the most generous interpretation to the intentions, words, and actions of others. The BRAVING Inventory can be used as a conversation guide that walks us through trust-building from a place of curiosity, learning, and connection.

I’ve been reflecting lately and realized that I’ve always been apart of top five winning organizations in their industries and have been able to inspire change and innovate processes in many of these organizations I’ve been apart of. From being able to train top District General Managers to be successful, to promoting and helping the enterprise attain enterprise growth strategies beyond the level of growth expected nationally and internationally, and train and developing top talent to not only grow in each of those companies but to flourish in the careers in other roles as well. Sometimes you have to reflect and thank yourself for the accomplishments you have achieved and keep note of them. A previous leader of mine said; you’ve accomplished so many things however sometimes you need to slow down and keep record of those accomplishments to be able to speak more about all of the great things you’ve done in your tenure to show how much impact you’ve made. I guess the advice I would have for future leaders is to always keep track of the amazing things you’ve done and to celebrate them. No one knows how much sleepless nights, strategies, and passion went into what you done to help grow your industries and how that impact affects so many people.
