My ad nerds and I remember this 2010 Super Bowl commercial for its sweet conscious-coupling story that unfolded in a search bar (we hadn't seen the likes of this creative tactic before). It came from Google and it was called "Parisian Love." Unicorn AI startup Perplexity decided to reimagine the spot, calling it "Parisian Dream" and aiming to make a point about its rival search.
