I have successfully completed building my own version of the Swiggy app named Munch Mob! 🚀 Check it out at https://lnkd.in/gQXmUc9K (now responsive). I incorporated Google Geocoding API and Places API to enable location selection and auto-suggestion features. Navigating the new Swiggy menu APIs was quite challenging, but the most valuable lesson for me was deploying the app on a virtual machine using Nginx. I resolved the CORS issue by creating my backend interface and added SSL after purchasing a domain name. Implementing a CI/CD pipeline with GitHub Actions was a game-changer, eliminating manual file uploads to the server. I'm now looking to add a feature for infinite loading, similar to how Swiggy's website constantly refreshes with new restaurant options as users scroll. Dear Zepto Team I was ordering something on your application. The cost of that product was 70 rupees. Then I realized that I had already purchased Zepto pass so I could save on delivery fees by adding another product worth 30 rupees to my cart. After adding the product to my cart, I checked the price breakdown. I was a bit shocked… Even though I have Zepto pass, I still have to pay 40% extra to order something worth 100 rupees 🤔 It looks really surprising; normally people do not observe this. Zepto Why just limit it to handling charges and surge fees? Add a few more charges such as: Traffic Charges Raining Charges Fast Delivery Charges And a few more...😅 Guys, if you have any suggestions or new charges which you want to share with Zepto, please feel free to comment below. 😃

#Learninpublichallenge(2/5) Hello Folks!! As part of the NextLeap PM learn in public challenge, this week's challenge was to teardown the writing a Review process for any product. Here is a simple scenario, wouldn't it be difficult now to step out of the house and buy the groceries when you can get any item from milk packets to an iPhone in 15-20 minutes? Well, this is quick commerce. For this challenge, I chose bigbasket.com. Though I have been using Big Basket for quite some time, insights after research were amazing. It is the only application that has been persisting for so long innovatively. They built the concept of Dark stores before it was popularised by Zepto. We all have heard about Big Basket, must have seen the SRK ads, the only grocery delivery app that made life easier during COVID-19. Till 2022, Big Basket was the market leader and then Zepto happened and soon every delivery was expected to deliver in 10 minutes or so. It would not be far-fetched to say that we are now getting our milk packets to monthly rations from this delivery app within 15-20 mins. Big Basket is now focusing on Quick commerce with the launch of BBnow and has also remodelled its slotted delivery model to deliver in as little as 15 minutes. GoSats Mohammed Roshan Anchit shah Karan Agarwal I have been using Gosats from last 7-8 months and initially, I was unable to understand, How Gosats works and found credit cards or debit cards to be better. Gradually, I got in some insights (Please Note- I hold an elite card which offers 1.5% Cashback) GoSats is pretty okay when it comes to rewards. The reward calculation is flawed. I did a transaction of Rs. 2500 on Gosats and bought a voucher which says that I will receive 3.5% Cashback. So, As per the current calculation, 20 Sats is equals to Rs 1, So 3.5% of Rs 2500 is Rs. 87.5 and the total sats will be 1750, But I got 1522 Sats only. On top of this, I also got the Daily Spin Wheel reward where I got 20% Extra Coins or 40% Extra Coins which I never get as the entire mechanism is very flawed. Please get this issue rectified and credit the difference sats in its entirety.

Earlier, we used to pay ₹10 as delivery charges on Zepto. Now, we subscribe to Zepto pass to get free deliveries and pay ₹9.99 as handling charge and platform fee (₹0.01 in overall Zepto pass savings)!
