Did you know that whenever there's a major global event such as the horrifying situations in the Ukraine and Gaza, donations to small charities fall off a cliff. When we see innocent children hurt by senseless war and violence, we all want to do what we can to help ease their pain and suffering. The frustrating thing for small charities like the Musical Youth Foundation (CHY#18624) is that the vulnerable children it is our mission to help have not gone away, their nightmare situations persist and often worsen as donations and grant funding get diverted to the more desperate looking situations plastered all over our social networks and across media channels. My dream is to help all children everywhere by giving them access to music lessons and instruments. If you are a business wanting to give back to the local community, do consider helping someone with funded music lessons. The first things to go in a #costoflivingcrisis are music and sports activities for children. As families struggle to find money to pay the bills, spare money for music lessons and buying music equipment and instruments, is not a priority sadly. The benefits that music brings to #mentalwellbeing is priceless.
