A Great team Dinner.. Recently we went to a wonderful team dinner, it was a farewell dinner party to one of our team member. While saying goodbye was never easy, but I didn't had the idea that the evening will turned out to be more than just a farewell—it presented me the remarkable opportunity for team bonding and professional growth. A lot of study's shows that having a small lunch or dinner with your team can increase the productivity as well as it helps u to understand your team & collogues in better manner. As a party loving person, I never usually leaves these opportunities to grab some food but this time it was somehow different as the conversation with the team went from office gossips to new learning opportunities, what the competitors are doing and where we stand in the market, I never knew that the Juniors can have some amazing insights about the business as well. Working at a cafe versus working in an office is sometimes a great change! The casual atmosphere with soft music adds to the energy around and is definitely more motivating! A delicious meal or coffee at different places is inviting and refreshing. I stay in Bandra and have a number of places around, however, have only just started exploring the cafe culture. Most of them usually offer high speed internet which makes it easy to work. Meeting and chatting with people at these places is fantastic with a huge possibility of meeting an investor, a partner or simply making new friends. 😄 I cannot wait to try more such places- any suggestions? To all Leaders, as warmer weather & sunshine approaches please take an opportunity to reflect on team bonding exercises. HAVE FUN! The primary objective is fun, with little to no emphasis on skill development Fun activities that help people see each other in a different light allow them to connect in a different setting. Throughout my career, the feedback received from my teans regardjng most memorable and enjoyable times was our team outings & team bonding moments. simply doing things together as a team. They key is to bring your team together in a fun and engaging way. A local restaurant, reverving a conference room for authorized potlucks, a walk in thd neighborhood... scavenger hunts, daily wellness, Team park picnics, stretching sessions live & interactive. Boat cruises, shows, park visits, zoo visits.
