I’m over the moon 🌙 to finally share some exciting updates we’ve been working on behind the scenes this year – it’s been like waiting for Christmas!   Our latest innovation is something I believe will be a game-changer for the fitness and gym industry – but it also has huge potential for companies beyond fitness, especially those with a franchise model:   📍Hyper Locations.   This feature allows us to create one platform where each location can tailor offers specifically for its members. It’s especially valuable for curating local rewards that members won’t find anywhere else!   Perfect for multi-site gyms, franchises, or any organisation with multiple locations!    Here’s how it works:   🏋️♂️ Dave’s North London Gym: Members at this location get exclusive deals at the local smoothie bar, onsite cafe, specific PT sessions, and more.   🏊♀️ Dave’s South London Gym: At this location, members get a 15% discount at the neighbouring yoga studio, special rates for group fitness classes in the local park, or discounted massages at a nearby spa.   We can even personalise offers by membership tier. For example, an off-peak member might see the yoga studio deal, but it’s locked with a prompt to “Upgrade to Peak Membership to unlock.” Peak members get it instantly! This drives engagement and boosts value for operators.   🚀 Also… Our Points API is now live: Organisations can now reward members or customers with points for key actions – like 100 points for gym visits or 200 points for completing a class. These points unlock rewards, adding gamification that keeps people coming back and drives desired behaviours. White-label discussions are also underway, with potential for early revenue. Community Building: Welcoming a new Community Manager from the Gold Coast running scene, connecting us with 10,000+ active members. Our grassroots efforts with run clubs and wellness events are growing along Australia’s East Coast. Expanded Reach: Partner campaigns are live across Australia! We’ve secured promotional access to databases with 1,000,000+, 300,000, 400,000, and 60,000 members to boost visibility at launch. Studio Partnerships: While onboarding new locations, we’re fine-tuning our strategy to build quality partnerships. Fitness software startup, scalr, has strengthened its advisory board by bringing in retention strategy expert Guy Griffiths, founder of GGFit. Scalr offers gym operators ways to leverage insight and harness it to improve member engagement. Describing the move as a strategic move to fuel growth, Scalr co-founder, Michael Theodore, said the partnership combines retention expertise and predictive behaviour analytics with data intelligence. “Our proprietary algorithm predicts individual member behaviours, allowing operators to spot early habit changes,” Theodore said. “This enables proactive interventions that can make the difference between disengagement and renewed commitment." Griffiths added: "If we could collectively extend each member’s stay by just one month, the industry would see exponential growth. But achieving this requires more than just wishful thinking." We're also offering gym plans and customizable options, including PayLater for new members. This week, we're launching on Product Hunt! It's been a team effort, and I want to highlight the dedication of my cofounder Ayush and our amazing team. I left my full-time job to follow my dream of building a startup, and Gymconnect is the result of that journey.
