If your inbox is like mine, there's an extraordinary amount of spam right now. That means that paying attention to your unsubscribe rate is a key metric to focus on. Unsubscribe rate? Why would that matter? Because it can tell a story on if your content is resonating with your audience. While click-through rates can tell you what your audience cares about within the content you're putting out, unsubscribes show whether the content as a whole matters to them. I know that we want to revisit some of the benchmarking that we've done, but here's some data that I think still holds up. What else tells you if content ISN'T working for your audience?

"When's the best time to post?" Seriously, it's a question that haunts me I get asked it so often. And yet it's probably the least important question most people I talk to should be asking! Deciding what time to post is a point of procrastination when you're not already posting regularly. Sure, there's a ton of content out there suggesting best days and windows and back a few years ago it was important. Today, not so much. The algorithms aren't feeding us content based on a time stamp. They're feeding us based on our appetites! Our interests, the things we click and engage in. So stop using the fact it isn't the perfect time to post as an excuse not to post. Get the content out there and work out what's landing with your audience instead. #SocialMediaMarketing #ContentMarketing

Your path to 6-figures is a simple one. (I said simple, not easy) You just need 2 things: 1. Content for your audience. 2. Profile for your audience. Notice the keyword? “Audience” If you're making content that: - Your audience relates to - Your audience learns from → They'll click your profile. If your profile shows: - What you do - Who you do it for - Why you're the right person → They'll be willing to buy from you. It's not rocket-science. It's solving problems. P.S. Message me “SOLVE” for a free profile audit.

Your posts are drowning in a sea of content? Change your posting time. Here’s why it matters: When you post, the algorithm is watching. If people don’t engage right away, it assumes the post isn’t valuable. But when your audience reacts and engages immediately? The algorithm takes note: “This is good! Let's push it to more people.” You don’t need luck, just strategy. Post when your community is active, and the algorithm will work with you, not against you. Your timing can either boost or bury your content. P.S. and it's kinda boring too when nobody is around!

🛑 Why Polarizing Content Captures Our Hearts and Minds: The Unseen Power of Social Media Algorithms In the vast ocean of social media, why do specific topics surge and ripple across our feeds, igniting fiery debates and passionate discussions? It's not just about the content itself—it's about our human response to it and the invisible hands of algorithms at play. 🔥 Emotional Engagement: When content strikes a chord, be it joy, outrage, or fear, we can't help but react. This emotional tug transforms our casual scrolls into clicks, comments, and shares. But why do we gravitate towards content that divides us? 🔄 Algorithmic Amplification: Our interactions are the currency of social media platforms. The more we engage, the more certain topics are propelled into the limelight, thanks to algorithms designed to feed our appetites for debate and discussion. But at what cost? 🗣️ Echo Chambers and Confirmation Bias: In seeking connection, we find ourselves in echo chambers, surrounded by voices that mirror our own. Polarizing content thrives here, reinforcing our beliefs and biases. But is this unity or division? ⚖️ Controversy and Debate: The allure of taking a stand, of being part of a community, drives us to engage more deeply with polarizing topics. Each like, comment, and share is a vote, a voice in the cacophony of social discourse. But are we listening or just shouting? 🌐 Network Effects: The power of social media lies in its ability to spread information like wildfire. What starts as a spark in one community can become a blaze across networks powered by our collective engagement. But what are we spreading? 👀 Sensationalism and Novelty: In a world where attention is the scarcest resource, sensational and novel content cuts through the noise. It's the unexpected, the controversial, that captures our curiosity. But at what point does curiosity turn into a spectacle? Ultimately, the reach and views garnered by polarizing topics on social media reveal more about us than we may want to admit. It's a mirror to our desires, fears, and biases. As we navigate this digital age, let us be mindful of the content we consume and share and strive for a balance that fosters understanding and respect over division. #SocialMedia #DigitalMarketing #Engagement #PolarizingContent #EmotionalSelling

Client: “What even is the algorithm?” Us: “Think of it as if magic and outer space had a baby. It’s this mysterious, ever-shifting force field that controls what content gets seen. One day, your post gets supernova-level reach, and the next, it’s sucked into a black hole of invisibility.” But don’t worry—there’s a way to work with the algorithm instead of against it. Here are 3 keys to making your content shine: 🪐 Engagement is Everything: Create posts that spark likes, comments, and shares. The more interaction, the more reach. 🪐 Timing & Consistency Matter: Fresh, regular content wins. Check your analytics to post when your audience is most active. 🪐 Quality Over Quantity: Keep people hooked by sharing content that educates, entertains, or solves a problem—bonus points if it’s visually stunning! I know how hard it is to constantly come up with opening hooks. (As a social media manager, hooks can make or break your content). So I compiled a list to make it easier for you. Polls don't guarantee leads. They're a GREAT tool... Polls are great for: ↳ Finding out your audiences preferences ↳ Finding their painpoints ↳ Getting feedback BUT PLEASE, don't use CTA's in polls. Polls work so well nowadays, still most people aren't using them... Takes literally max. 10 seconds to read a poll, You can vote with one click. That's literally it. Which means... ↳ No commenting ↳ No reading You just press one of the 4 choices you're given. Which I think is one of the reasons it works so well. Your audience has an easy and simple way to make an impact on your content.

How to Not Make Your Brand Look Like Everyone Else's Everyone says "Post consistently!" But let’s be honest posting bland, lifeless content consistently isn’t a strategy. Even if you post a relative and authentic post after a week but it connects and resonates right with your audience , that is still better than having a 30 day content plan with no direction at all. Here’s my not-so-basic tip: Don’t focus on just what to post, figure out why anyone should care. ✨ Talk about the problem your audience faces. ✨ Make your captions sound human (less AI, more relatable). ✨ Oh, and stop using 'Monday motivation' unless it’s actually motivating. Because good social media is like good coffee, it keeps people coming back for more. ☕ What’s your biggest social media pet peeve or struggle ? Let me know. I might just write a post about it next 🌝
