A Thank You from Me to You As we wrap up 2024, I just want to take a moment to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported TLC for Kids this year. It’s been a year full of milestones, growth, and moments that matter, and none of it would have been possible without you. This year, we’ve achieved some incredible things together. We expanded the TLC Ambulance to South Australia, bringing comfort and joy to even more families. We’ve also seen demand for our Rapid TLC service nearly double, showing just how many families are in need of urgent support. The Tap 2 Distract App has been a game-changer, with usage skyrocketing by over 146%, helping kids and families take a breather during challenging times. And to top it off, we were honoured to be named Outstanding Achievement Winner at the Australian Charity Awards for the second year in a row. On a personal note, seeing Ana Darras AM recognised as a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) was a truly special moment. Her dedication is the heartbeat of what we do, and I couldn’t be prouder of her. Through it all, I’ve been amazed and humbled by your support. We know this hasn’t been an easy year for many, with the rising cost of living making it harder to make ends meet. The fact that so many of you still dug deep to help means more than I can put into words. That’s why we’re launching the Friends of TLC for Kids Membership Drive – to give more people the chance to get involved in a way that’s manageable but still makes a big difference. It’s the little things, done consistently, that have the power to change lives. From donations to volunteering, sharing our story, or even just cheering us on, every bit of support has made an impact this year. Thank you for believing in what we do and for standing by us. As we head into 2025, I’m excited about what we can achieve together. Let’s keep working to create more moments that matter for the families who need us most. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
