Third, it’s all about performance - not just in the field, but also in the products or services you provide. Quality can’t be compromised. BUSINESS SENSE 2 Hello , Yesterday I wrote the first in the series of Business Sense . The idea is to share some insights on what business owners should be aware of as they think of setting their businesses . Define your Audience Your audience are those who pay attention to you , and are interested on your offerings . In broadcasting , the audience is calibrated into primary, secondary and tertiary . As an entrepreneur , it’s important to know who you are focused on , that way your products and services will be in tandem. The truth remains that you can’t serve everyone. In the bid to serve everyone , you end up serving none. Establish your payment method What drives every business is money : whether it is your money or a support from another source .when there is no money , the business is likely to fail . It is therefore important that there is established price of goos and services , and definite way of collecting money when good are bought and services given . If a business concern continues to loose money due to to unestablished protocols of payment, it is a threat to the existence of that business. Today's win hits different - not from my usual client work, but from helping my girl's tattoo business shine. She just landed a spot at the city's top tattoo studio. Being new in town with few connections, I fired up a quick ad campaign to boost her visibility. Even though media buying ain't my main game, these early results got me hyped. Still plenty of testing and learning ahead, but this hands-on experience is gold for when I launch my own funnel someday. Don't get me wrong - not ditching client work. One Error I see Founders Do Building Their Brand Here On LinkedIn As A founder trying to build a brand here, your contents should be revolving around you, your belief system,entrepreneurial journey and prowess, work ethic and the business you are building. Not just posting about random entrepreneurs and their journey. You are Building a personal brand not a history book. The aim should be to be able to attract investors. Please get your content strategy right. (it pains me seeing you guys build wrongly, I just hope this gets to the people who need to see this.)
