I’ve been quiet lately. Some say antisocial. Fair enough. The truth is, not many on social media talk about how hard it really is. Building technology that works, let alone something that truly matters to people, is a battle. Building a business? Nearly impossible. For the past year, I’ve been in the trenches with an extraordinary team, partners, and backers. Together, we’ve been building something we weren’t even sure was possible - a social gaming platform designed not just to entertain, but to tap into the collective intelligence of everyday people, creators and gamers - the very voices often overlooked by experts and elites. Not just influencers or specialists. In late July, we launched WAYE Powered by Orbu.Ai, a prediction game that combines human intelligence with AI to predict the future. Just in time for the U.S. elections. In August 2024, 100 days out, our community called it: 60/40 odds for Trump. We were laughed at. As the day drew closer, the swarm’s prediction signalled 85/15. And they were right. A platform of people (often referred to as "retail" or "degens" by Wall St.) calling outcomes more accurately than many so-called experts. As of today, more than 800,000 users have joined the platform, with approximately 20,000 daily active participants. Numbers like these, for us, aren’t just metrics - they’re proof of what’s possible when you dare to go all in with the community. It hasn’t been easy. There were moments when it felt painfully impossible.
