I believe that we can create order with our words just with a desire for wisdom. Fearing God is the beginning of knowledge (Proverbs 1:7) and when we put God first and walk in humility, He exalts us (James 4:10). I believe that even when we don’t have a desire to be exalted, because that’s the place we should want to be in, a place of a purified humility, this is the area where His light can shine through us. This is when others will come to know the knowledge of Him. So let’s not glory in our boasting because that is evil (James 4:16). Let’s focus on God’s glory. Let’s focus on His wisdom when we create. We can apply this by creating order, rather a system with our words. God created the world in six days and on the seventh day, He rested. He had a system for creation. When He made man, it was the sixth day and when man enjoyed the first day of living, he did so from God’s rest. Let’s create order from a place of rest. That looks like allowing our trust in the Lord alone to guide us. That looks like trusting in His promises over things going on in our minds. Trust commands rest. It’s in this rest that I want to share with you a new workshop I have taking place at the end of this month called, “Pen and Presence” and I would love for you to join me. In the workshop, you will learn more on what it means to rest in God and allow for God’s presence and your pen to lead you to His will in your content creation. The world has said you need to follow these content calendars and exhaust yourself by keeping up with the trends, but let’s turn our focus and attention back on Him and allow Him to lead us in what we create. You can sign up for the interest list for the first Pen & Presence workshop on August 31, 2024, time to be announced. I will be sending out 10 journaling prompts for creative clarity for those who sign up for the interest list. I’d love to see you on the other side! Go to https://lnkd.in/gWcwrrEf to sign up today for your journey to Creative Clarity.

Give God Your Pen and Let Him Write Your Story What if the most incredible adventure of your life begins when you stop gripping the pen so tightly? When do you stop trying to write every chapter yourself, mapping out every detail in fear of the unknown? What if the natural beauty of your journey unfolds when you give the pen to God and trust Him with your story? It's human nature to want control—to plan, predict, and protect ourselves from unexpected twists and turns. But the truth is, some of the most beautiful chapters in life are the ones we never saw coming, written by a hand far more capable than ours. When we surrender, hand over our pen, and trust the Author who knows our ending, we experience something remarkable—His story for our lives. It's filled with more love, purpose, and growth than we could ever imagine for ourselves. What would happen if you released the pen today? What would your life look like if you trusted God to write the story that's uniquely yours? How has surrendering control shaped your journey? What's the next chapter you're trusting Him to write? #LetGodWrite #SurrenderToHisWill #TrustTheAuthor #DivinePurpose #FaithInTheJourney #YourStoryMatters #GodsPlan #LetGoAndTrust

What’s your favorite daily dose of inspiration? If I could only pick one, it would be FORMED Daily from the Augustine Institute. Great insight. Really interesting. Tim Gray shares more from a text in five minutes, than many good teachers do in an hour. He’s one of my favorites and the best five minutes for your money (☀️it’s free). The broadcast unpacks the daily Mass readings, or some aspect of them—three or four Bible passages. I’d recommend reading them before turning on the Daily Reflections. If you’re not Catholic, or don’t typically read the daily Mass readings, I’m sharing a link in the comments. Reading the daily Scripture will probably take you 5-10 minutes. Augustine Institute will send you a daily email from the FORMED platform, with the Daily Reflections for each day. If you want a daily focused Bible reading with a compact combination of learning and inspiration, I highly recommend this one. https://lnkd.in/gpxaKBcD #heartlandvalues #faith

<< __Please click on the Lesson 98 link to read the entire Workbook lesson for review today.__ I have only highlighted #1 of 12. -----1. Today is a day of special dedication. ²We take a stand on but one side today. ³We side with truth and let illusions go. ⁴We will not vacillate between the two, but take a firm position with the One. ⁵We dedicate ourselves to truth today, and to salvation as God planned it be. ⁶We will not argue it is something else. ⁷We will not seek for it where it is not. ⁸In gladness we accept it as it is, and take the part assigned to us by God.
