At Thriving Survivors, we believe in providing a safe, comprehensive pathway for survivors to heal. Our trauma recovery process is designed with compassion and empathy, ensuring survivors only need to share their story once. Each stage offers tailored support, empowering individuals to progress at their own pace. Our pathway includes four stages: 1️⃣ Safety & Stabilisation – Reclaiming control with support from mentors who understand. 2️⃣ Remembrance & Mourning – Healing deeper wounds with skilled counsellors. 3️⃣ Finding Meaning – Building confidence, emotional intelligence, and resilience. 4️⃣ Living Life with Purpose – Training survivors to become mentors and give back. Swipe through to see how each stage is designed to guide survivors on their unique journey. Join us in creating a community where everyone can thrive. 💙 #ThrivingSurvivors #TraumaRecovery #HealingPathway #SupportAndEmpowerment #CommunityOfSurvivors

Break generational trauma, as a parent, may it end with you. Healing generational trauma is a deep and powerful process that parents embark on, aiming to prevent past wounds from affecting future generations. It requires courage and love, not only for oneself but also for one's children and the generations to come. Generational trauma can manifest in various ways, often rooted in experiences of violence, neglect, abuse, or significant emotional distress that echo through families. As a parent committed to healing, you possess the unique power to change this narrative and foster a healthier, more nurturing environment for your children. The first step in breaking this cycle is acknowledging and understanding the trauma that exists within your family. #generationaltrauma #ichoosetoheal #parentalwellness

How Collective Trauma Can Bond Groups of People Together Collective trauma refers to the emotional impact of events affecting entire communities, leading to strong bonds among survivors. A historical example is the Schoolhouse Blizzard of January 12, 1888, which unexpectedly struck The Great Plains, causing temperatures to plummet and blinding snow to envelop the region. This severe weather event led to the tragic deaths of many, including numerous children. Collective trauma such as this can create unique bonds among those who endure the shared ordeal. The emotional aftermath often unites people, as they feel freer to express their emotions and support one another. While these bonds are beneficial, they highlight the need for understanding and addressing trauma collectively and individually. #CollectiveTrauma #CommunityHealing #SharedExperiences #TraumaRecovery #EmotionalHealing #SurvivorBonding #MentalHealthAwareness #GroupSupport #HealingTogether #TraumaInformed #Resilience #SupportSystems https://lnkd.in/g6bY5Q8v
