During last week's 15-minute tutorial, I used Foveo Memorial Services Inc.'s CTA button around a form as an example of how to neutralize anxiety. Because there's a LOT of thoughts and feelings around buttons. - What's going to happen if I click? - Is it worth the risk to click that button? - Is my life going to get harder? I recommended that they: - Change the button copy to remind the visitor that the first step is easy - Add a testimonial beside the button to remind the visitor that Foveo takes care of everything (and that their life won't get harder) - Add bullet points below the button to remind them of the benefits (because most visitors skim words and might have missed some important stuff) - Reduce the perceived barrier of the legal stuff below the button by making the font smaller and bolding the opting out portion Check out the before and after shots below.
