The entire #TheYieldLabLatam team united! 😍 At The Yield Lab Latam, we recently gathered our entire Latin American team to reflect on our journey, wrap up the year, and set our sights on new goals for the future. We're incredibly proud of the diverse and talented team we've built across different regions and disciplines. This meeting reinforced our commitment to driving innovation in the agri-food industry with focus on supporting farmers and addressing their specific needs. This year, we've: 👉 Expanded our Portfolio: by adding four new promising agtech startups to our portfolio Beeflow Courageous Land umgrauemeio iDeal - Business Performance 👉 Forged Strategic Partnerships: The addition of strategic investors such as the Global Environment Facility and Grupo Garces further solidifies our position as a leader in agri-food innovation. 👉 Built a Stronger Ecosystem: We continued to build a robust network of partners, collaborating with both global corporations like Nestlé and Grupo Bimbo and regional players like Surcos and Nesters Tech. While there are many other activities that we undertook this year, we would like to acknowledge and commend the exceptional work of this dedicated team. Let's go for more! 💪

What an incredible workshop we had on "Partnering in Ecosystems"! It was the perfect complement to the Accelerator program "Fastlane," organized by Foodvalley NL and Invest-NL. Together with Mirjam Ros, whose extensive expertise is in Partnerships, Innovation, and IP, and leveraging my background in the Food Industry and Business Development, we took the time to dive deep into #PartnershipStrategies in relation to #Ecosystems and #Innovation. It was inspiring to see how all these companies—each in their own way—are driving change in the #FoodIndustry and working towards a more sustainable future. During this workshop we explored how #CollaborativeInnovation and #JointValueProposition are essential for long-term success and growth. Key discussions revolved around crucial topics like: - How to identify when a partner is a good fit - In which phase of innovation to engage a partner - What to establish before starting a partnership - The balance between open and closed innovation and partnership strategies Start-ups and scale-ups often face numerous opportunities that pop up along their growth journey. However, there's a critical balance between seizing opportunities on the go and consciously choosing the right partners with intention and strategy. Balancing intention with enthusiasm and optimism can be challenging, but key for #SustainableGrowth. We wrapped up the day by outlining a simple three-step plan to apply the insights and frameworks to build effective, strategic partnerships that can create new markets and ecosystems. A big thank you to everyone who participated for their insights, passion, and contributions. Special thanks to Minerve Vicente for the preparation and organization of this masterclass. It was a pleasure to be part of it! #collaborativeinnovation 🤝 Phycom Pablo Pena Willem Kuijsten MaGie Creations Madeleine Gielens Saia Agrobotics Ruud Barth PrimeJack®️ & FiberFoods Paul Schoenmakers Rik Hendriks Vivici Simon Penfold Stephan van Sint Fiet Marcel Wubbolts

Phil Tickle, Co-Founder & Managing Director of Cibo Labs Pty Ltd, has been in the agtech game “since before agtech was ‘agtech'... and he's seen a culture shift, too. “What we’re seeing across the agtech industry now is the coming together of a bunch of very collegiate businesses who not only focus on what they’re good at, but at the same time, provide producers the ability to share and integrate across other specialty platforms. “Because it’s not about trying to solve everything ourselves. It’s about doing what you're good at and then collaborating to expand your impact.” Read why some of Aussie agtech’s biggest success stories – AgriWebb, Farmbot Monitoring Solutions, Pairtree Intelligence, Optiweigh and Cibo Labs Pty Ltd – are choosing collaboration over competition. And how beef producers are the ultimate winners 🥩 🥇 Read more, here: https://bit.ly/3ZL02RS
