🚀 Gen Z is redefining workplace priorities! A recent survey by Apnaco reveals that 80% of Gen Z professionals prioritize mentorship and career development opportunities over salary—a powerful testament to how workplace expectations are evolving. As part of this dynamic generation, I strongly resonate with this shift. For us, work isn't just about financial stability; it's about growth, impact, and purpose. We value: Skill-building over mere job roles. Inclusivity and respect as workplace essentials. Continuous feedback and collaboration, which fuel our motivation and creativity. Gone are the days of rigid hierarchies and isolated work structures. We thrive in environments where learning is encouraged, contributions are recognized, and long-term growth is a priority. For employers, this presents an exciting opportunity: by investing in mentorship programs and fostering inclusive, feedback-driven cultures, they can attract and retain the best talent. 💡 Let’s build workplaces where both organizations and individuals can grow together. Workplace engagement in many companies still often lags behind the evolving expectations of younger generations like Gen Z, who prioritize mentorship, career development, and inclusivity. Many Indian firms still focus on traditional measures such as job security and financial incentives, which can neglect the growing need for skill-building, purpose-driven work, and continuous feedback. Although some companies are making strides in fostering inclusive and collaborative environments, inconsistent implementation and a lack of personalized growth opportunities may hinder employee satisfaction and retention, particularly among younger professionals seeking meaningful, long-term careers. #career #startups #office #mentoring #growth #genz

Has anyone else seen TOO MUCH of this generational-cultural war? The world we live in AND work in has been changing at an extremely rapid pace! We don't do things how we used to because, "that's how it's always been done," anymore. #PEOPLE are what make a business successful, whether it's employees or customers. Finding similarities to one another will be a lot more helpful than complaining about the discrepancies. #tech #technology #culture #generation #genz #boomer #work #skills #cohesion #collaboration #integration #cooperation #hiring #jobs #jobmarket #market #marketing

Employees that feel a high level of job satisfaction, for reasons such as their values align with their employers, and they feel respected, will be less open to new job opportunities, and less likely to change roles. Curating a happy workplace will also help to attract new talent easier. #womenentrepreneurs #womenentrepreneurship #womenentrepreneurconclave

What makes a workplace feel like somewhere you actually want to be? At DivERS, we ask ourselves this question often. Having worked in startups, corporates, universities, and everything in between, we’ve seen how a strong employer brand can inspire loyalty, and how its absence can create disengagement. It’s not just about fancy perks or polished mission statements. A strong employer brand starts with authenticity. It’s about living your values every day, not just listing them on your website. It’s about clarity, communicating who you are and what you stand for in a way that attracts people who align with your mission. But it’s also about action. From the moment a candidate applies to the day they step into the office, their experience defines how they see your brand. Are you creating a process that’s fair, inclusive, and welcoming? At DivERS, we’ve built a platform to remove bias from hiring because we believe every candidate deserves a fair shot, and every company deserves employees who feel proud to represent them. This isn’t just business. It’s personal. And it’s how we’re helping employers build brands that people want to be part of. What’s your take? How does your company approach building an employer brand? Let’s exchange ideas. #ai #diversity #recruitment #fairhiring #hiring #dei #deib #hr #automation #screening #employerbranding #candidate #candidateexperience Sara Shafiee Alireza Taghizadeh
