It’s such a small, simple tactic, yet I wonder why more sales pitches don’t use it. I recently sat through a sales pitch that grabbed my attention in the first 2 minutes. What did they do? They just placed our logo in a flow diagram, showing how their product could bring us more customers. That’s it. Something as straightforward as a logo placement made me stay and listen for the next 15 minutes. Most sales pitches follow the standard flow—an intro to the company, what they do, how they can help you, followed by case studies. By the time they get to the actual benefit, we’ve usually already lost interest. In a world where our attention spans are getting shorter every day, closing deals is only going to get harder. So, why aren’t more sales pitches using these small, impactful tactics?
