After an unforgettable Grand Final victory last week, I’ve had some time to reflect on what it takes to reach the top on and off the field. Whether you’re chasing your dream in sports, business, or any aspect of life, these five rules have been my compass. 1) Discipline Over Motivation Motivation fades, but discipline is what keeps you going. Show up, even when you don’t feel like it. 2) Learn from Setbacks  Losing isn’t failure, it’s feedback. Every loss is an opportunity to grow stronger, smarter, and more determined. 3) Surround Yourself with the Right Team Success isn’t a solo journey. Find people who believe in your vision and push you to be better. 4) Stay Humble, Stay Hungry No matter how high you climb, there’s always another level. Never lose that drive to improve. 5) Believe in the Process Success doesn’t come overnight. It’s built brick by brick, through the daily grind. If you want your team to be more cross functional, give them opportunities to do so. If I see something I want more of my team, I first ask myself if I’ve set them up for success! Set your pace and they will pace with you.
