Quang Ninh - The dragon is awakening in the industrial real estate. With its special advantages in geographical location and interconnected transportation infrastructure, Quang Ninh is identified as a focal point for investment attraction in 2024. Quang Ninh is particularly focused on the core solution of completing technical infrastructure to ensure synchronicity, connectivity between regions, internal areas, and neighboring areas. At the same time, it has established a Special Task Force to address difficulties, obstacles, and effectively support enterprises, cooperatives, individual businesses, and investors. Specifically, the DEEP C Industrial Zones (including the Bac Tien Phong Industrial Zone and the Nam Tien Phong Industrial Zone) have a planned total area of nearly 1,700 hectares. With the proactive involvement of the local authorities, the land clearance and compensation work of the project ensure adherence to the proposed schedule, creating favorable conditions for investors to expedite the completion of project infrastructure. Regarding the Bac Tien Phong Industrial Zone, the main road transportation system, electricity supply system, and basic water supply system have been completed; a wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 4,500 cubic meters per day is ready to operate, meeting the operational needs of factories within the industrial zone. Up to now, the DEEP C Industrial Zones have attracted 12 projects with a total investment capital of 2.1 billion USD; in 2023 alone, 9 projects were attracted with a total investment capital of 1.8 billion USD. Mr. Bruno Jaspaert, General Director of the DEEP C Industrial Zones, stated: After the opening of the Cho Roc - Phong Hai Road and the Son Chanh 2 Bridge, secondary investors find it easier to access the industrial zones. It is expected that by the end of 2024, the Bac Tien Phong Industrial Zone will be fully occupied, with a total investment capital exceeding 1 billion USD compared to 2023. Therefore, in the coming time, Quang Ninh is assessed to continue to be the leading province in attracting FDI nationwide, with the potential to become a new "capital" of foreign investment inflows into Vietnam. HAI PHONG LAUNCHES $45 MILLION STEEL PLANT, AIMS FOR ECONOMIC GROWTH A groundbreaking ceremony marked the start of construction for the Viet Phap Steel Manufacturing Plant No. 2 in Hai Phong, Vietnam, representing a significant $45 million investment in its first phase. The new 75,000 square meter facility, situated in the strategically important Nam Dinh Vu Industrial Park, is projected to have an annual production capacity of 350,000 tons of steel products, utilizing advanced international manufacturing technologies. Sinar Nusantara Industries perfectly described the AAC investment logic: - increasing demand for sustainable building materials - providing safe and high-quality products - eco-friendly construction solutions - low carbon footprint and high energy efficiency - commitment to environmental responsibility NB: Link to the article in comments. I can note that most of investors in AAC really focus on making change in their communities. Ytong or Hebel brand License concept makes the investment safer and involves investor into the international experience of AAC engineering projects and application and marketing practices.
